The next week was dull for Izuku, disguised as Shoto Todoroki. There was little the League could really do, as their main transport was captured at Kamino, and brought to the Foundation for study. It was a major breakthrough in the development of teleportation tech, at least in the Foundation's eyes. After all, his quirk was tailor made for its functionality, and studying it has been fascinating... at least from Mom's estimation. She's always been interested in quirks like I have.
Still, right now he had to focus on looting their current location. Shigaraki kicked down a large candle holder. Focusing back on the situation at hand, he searched for any funds this quirk cult may have had. They believed that only those with mental or emitter class quirks were the "successors of the world". Well, those with backwards ideologies would die out eventually, the now dual haired boy supposed. They hated Spinner with a passion, so... well... their corpses made a nice carpet, he mused. Dabi and him were in charge of looting them and getting rid of the evidence. As they found nearly nothing, he complained, maintaining character: "I guess being in a cult doesn't pay the bills..."
"Bullshit it doesn't. What about the Vatican?" Compress asked. "They're filthy rich."
"Yeah, well, this group isn't like that." Izuku replied. He had only found a few hundred Yen on them. The equivalent of pocket change. "It hardly feels worth the effort."
Toga grimaced. "Their blood is no good, too. Shiggy, what are we going to do next?"
He was about to reply when his phone rang. The only contact he would still have is Giran. "Maybe it's good luck?"
When he answered, that hope was shattered. "What did you do to Giran?"
As the call went on, the leader of the League was more and more agitated until he ended with an ultimatum: "You let him go, or I will kill you in a way where not even your beloved Destro can save you." Destro...? Why bring... oh... OH. I see... yeah, not good.
He ended the call, decaying the phone in the process. Scattering the ashes, he was furious. "Giran was captured. By a group called the Meta Liberation Army. We're going to kill him."
"How?" Izuku asked. All eyes were on him as he stated the fact. "The MLA was presumed destroyed. We don't know anything about them, or their forces..."
"Despite the Endeavour knockoff's attitude, he's right." Dabi finished cremating the last of the cultists' corpses. "We can't just go in without a plan."
As they argued, Izuku's phone rang. Picking it up, there was a contact he didn't recognize. Getting out of the room, he responded, "Who is this?"
An elderly male voice called out to him. "Who I am is not important. What is important is the offer I have for Tomura. Can you give the phone to him?"
"This better be good. He's not in a particularly fine mood at the moment."
The response was promising, although not by much, admittedly. "It should brighten his day."
"I hope so. I'll bring you to him." He walked back into the room, where Shigaraki was stewing his hatred alone. When he approached, he asked, "What?"
Offering the phone, he stated, "This guy wants to talk to you. He's not from the MLA."
"Hand it over." Izuku obliged, and Shigaraki talked to the mysterious man on the other side. True to his words, the villain seemed to actually lighten up a bit, before grinning. "Really?" His voice scratched out a reply. "Well, then we'll just have to meet you. When? Now? Alright. I'll let everyone know..."
He hung up, giving the device back to Izuku. "Shoto, get everyone in here."
Izuku nodded, and did what was requested. When everyone was back, Dabi looked over at their leader with minimal respect. "What now?"
"I got in contact with the Doctor. The one that made the nomus..." That got everyone's attention. Izuku even more so. He created the nomus?! I will mark this down for the file later! Still, he listened with rapt attention as he continued, "He's willing to lend us help and show us All For One's most powerful ally. The teleportation will occur shortly..."
