The room Izuku awoke into was pristine, white, bright, and stark of any identifying features. There was a simple metal table and two chairs, one of which he was already sitting in. When he raised his hand to his throbbing head, he found that, besides a small scratch, remnants of a massive scar from last he was awake, that he was handcuffed. Now realizing how... real this whole mess was, his eyes darted around, taking in what details he could. Where am I? On the door was a unique icon, of a circle being intercepted by 3 arrows equidistant from each other. The doors seem to be built so that way the icon could be clear to see.
Before he could ponder the meaning of it for too long, the door hissed, the central circular mechanism turning counter-clockwise to open, and a stunningly beautiful woman stepped through. She was tall, blond, wearing a lab coat, V neck, and a set of long pants. Her striking eyes scanned his form, before she approached. The clack of her footsteps indicated that she was wearing heels, as she approached the table, and set down a file onto it, before pulling the chair out and sitting down across from him, and read through it. Izuku was secretly panicking, considering that he was found with the amulet in hand, and covered in blood. He was both relieved and concerned that he was clean, yet in a basic orange jumpsuit. It meant that these people took his clothes, washed him, and placed new clothes on him. On top of that... was the accursed amulet!
To be honest, the whole thing felt like it was a major breach of privacy, and Izuku was about to ask about it when she interrupted him first. Her words didn't make sense, though. She was speaking as if addressing a full adult. As if addressing Dr. Jack Bright. "Dr. Bright, you are aware of what happens when you try to escape the facility you are assigned to during a containment breach?" Shuffling through paperwork, she found a particular section of... something. The greenette couldn't quite read it from his view. "Do we need to remind you that even though you are technically immortal, you still have to follow protocol outlaid in subsections 2-32.b and 36.c..."
Panic rising, he asked, "wait, you people shot Bright... Why... do you think that I'm him?"
She froze, staring him down. Her voice was just as cold as her gaze, disinterested with Izuku's protests. "Don't try to pull that trick, Doctor. You've done it twice before to us..."
Looking around, his hysteria built up in these strange circumstances. "I-I don't even know who you are or where I am! Wh-What is going on?!"She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, appearing done with his outburst. "Alright, if this is how you want to play, Doctor... who do you claim to be?"
Still not quite trusting of this woman, he quickly realized he had no choice. So, trying to swallow his fear of this place... he tried to not fidget so much. Unable to meet her gaze, he spoke quietly, "M-My name is Izuku Midoriya."Pausing, she stood tall, taking the paperwork with her, as if actually giving him the benefit of the doubt. However, her voice indicated the opposite, of course. "I'll be right back." She left through the door, taking the file with her.
However, Izuku asked, "Can I at least know your name?"
Pausing for a moment, the blonde answered a stern: "No." The automated door hissed shut behind her, lock moving clockwise and leaving Izuku to his thoughts.
After a minute, which felt much longer, she came back, with a small tablet she aligned and set up so she wouldn't have to hold it. Her voice was just as cold as before, not liking having to go through this process. It clearly was something they had done many times before, enough to become routine. "Alright, you claim to be Izuku Midoriya. I will ask a series of questions, and you will answer them. Is that understood?" There was no room for argument.
Being respectful, he nodded, shakily. "Y-yes Ma'am."
Nodding, she approved of the respect he was giving her. "Good, How old are you?"
"Four... Fourteen. Fifteen in July."
She frowned, before asking another question. These seemed to be identity confirming questions. But why? Clearly Dr. Bright could view memories of his... 'hosts'. "Speaking of July, when exactly is your birthday?"
"Fifteenth of July, at 6:42." At least, that was what his father had said the birth date was.
