The next day, Izuku waited with his packed bags standing next to Eve at what was designated Gate 2-B. The facility had four exits, this being the second one, next to the second main road, hence the designation. "What do you think it'll be like?"

The greenette looked over to the girl who just asked the question. She was curious on his perspective. With good reason. Even despite the presence of... Allmight... it was clear that UA was still going to be exciting! He shrugged, but still had a smile on his face. "Well... it will be educational..."

Eve immediately groaned, "Seriously? That's what your takeaway was? No, it's going to at least have some fun moments. I mean, the sports festival, right?"

"That's not for weeks, and... well... we may not be there that long." He looked towards the gate, perhaps expecting a car from outside the facility to take them elsewhere.

She looked at him, a deadpan expression on her face, before shaking her head, "Really? Are you going to be like this the whole time? It's not healthy."

He didn't retort against that. Even if he wanted to, an unassuming civilian car pulled up from the nearby Foundation garage, and they got in, sitting right next to each other. His cheeks heating up at the closeness of his friend, all he could do was listen as she looked out the side window with... wonder.  "This is the first time I've left this place since I was 13..."

That brought him back to earth. Shaking his head, he stated, "Right... I don't even know where we are..."

The driver spoke up. Based off the combat gear he wore, he was a Class E, an containment enforcer. Izuku technically outranked him, and so he could interpret the question as a request for information. Information that he was allowed to have. "We're just north of Mustafu, hidden in the mountains."
Eyes wide, the greenette recognized the name, with a bit of trepidation. UA was a lot closer than he realized, and the drive wouldn't be so long either. He couldn't plan everything now. He was also nervous for a... different reason. "We're that close?! That's where I grew up!"
Eve looked at him, stars in her sparking eyes. "Really?!"

"Yeah..." He trailed off, remembering both good and bad. It was then that the brunette remembered his backstory, and her emotional high went away slowly.

Leaning forward, Eve asked the driver, as politely as possible. "How long to UA?"
Glancing back, the Class E personnel replied: "About an hour."

The rest of the drive was wholly uneventful. They didn't see any villain attacks, nor was their trip impeded by any natural mountain phenomena. Nor by any Groups of Interest. It was, for lack of a better term, peaceful. So peaceful, in fact, that the two of them had dozed off, before their driver called back, referring to Izuku. "We're here, sir."
"Hm? Oh, thanks..." It was only then when he realized that Eve was leaning into him, still asleep. He blushed, embarrassed a little bit before then started to wake her up with a gentle shake. "C'mon, Eve..."

She tried to refuse, complaining under her breath, "Five more minutes..."

He sighed, before elaborating, to her chagrin. "We've arrived at UA."

"Ok..." She opened her eyes, blinked, confused, and then realized where she was. The front gates were opening as she shoved him away, realizing that she had been leaning on him with a deeply embarrassed blush. "Ah! Sorry!"
Izuku sheepishly looked away, not wanting to make things even more awkward. "It wasn't a problem..." Then the two 14-year-olds noticed a woman with dark blue/black hair waiting at the end of a path leading to the administrative building, waiting for them. While Izuku's eyes widened, Eve's furrowed with confusion. After all, she didn't think the first person she met would remind her of where she was born: Las Vegas. "Who's the stripper?"
With a bit of a horrified gasp at the lack of tact, the green emeralds turned to glance at his friend, "That's the R-rated pro-hero Midnight."
