After their meeting, Izuku and Eve walked to the Class A dorm building. It was where they were now staying, having finished Nezu's curriculum in its entirety. When they entered, everyone was busy with their own thing, and a few people were in the kitchen area. "Hungry?"
Izuku nodded, his stomach nearly betraying him before he could beat it. "You bet."

When they entered the kitchen, however, it would be an understatement to describe it as only a bit of chaos. Bakugo had his own "squad", which was currently trying to help him make dinner for everyone. He acted like Gordon Ramsey, although he was searching for tabasco instead of lamb sauce. Izuku suddenly felt like his... conversation... from before definitely didn't help matters, and didn't want to be associated with murder... or be the attempted victim. He just didn't want to have to show off his quirk, even when the blond knew what it was. "On second thought, I don't trust the chef tonight."

Eve looked at him, surprised. He did just exonerate the boy in their last meeting with Doctor Rabenherz... would he really go back on that? "Why not? He wouldn't kill his entire class, right?"

Izuku sighed, "If he had the chance to get away with it, I think he would." She blinked, noting how serious he sounded... before shaking his head at the next remark. "That, and his food is often way too spicy."

In relief, she exclaimed, "Oh, I love spicy food!" She asked Denki, who was messing with some kind of wrap. "What cuisine is he making?"

Looking back, the electric blond whispered to her, "He says it's Mexican, but I don't think he's using a recipe..."
Eve looked disappointed, before determined. "If he's not even trying, then I should make sure he does it right!"
Izuku tried to stop her, knowing full well what Bakugo was capable of. He didn't want a repeat of Aldera, even if he was supposedly on a leash. "Wait, I don't want you to get hurt!"

Glancing around, the brunette gave a list of reasons. "One, there are cameras, two, he knows his place already. Or should. And three... there are 19 other students here. Either way, I'm not letting him butcher my cousin's cuisine!"

"I thought your side of the family was Italian?" Izuku asked, but she called back, just as quickly.

"Mom's is, Dad's brother married those with Hispanic roots!" Not wanting to leave her in close proximity to his problem, Izuku followed right behind, entering the kitchen, just as she walked over to him. "What are you making tonight?"

The Blond turned to her, rage in his eyes. Furious at being interrupted, he shouted at her. "Hah?! We're making Fucking Tacos!"

Undeterred, Eve looked looked over the food. Her blue eyes scanning how... he butchered the ingredients, and even used several spices which weren't even part of the cuising. Glancing back at him with a withering gaze, the brunette asked, "Dear lord, you don't know how to make them, do you!?"

He seethed, annoyed. "Like you can do any better!"

She glared back at the accusations. "I can! I've made Mexican food with my cousins plenty of times before!"

However, Eve actually became furious at the slander to her family's culture... even if his words were true. "Nobody here'll tell the difference!"

In order to stop them from razing the kitchen, Izuku shouted above their own voices. "Stop arguing like preschoolers!" That got them to silence their voices. "How about this, you two prepare your own course meals for the class, and whichever is liked more wins?" It was a simple, but effective challenge. After all, they both had hats in the ring, might as well make it official.
Katsuki smiled, a feral grin that meant he approved. "A competition? I'll fucking crush your whore, Deku."

She blushed, embarrassed, but stood resolute. It was clear that she didn't object to the whole statement, something that went over Izuku's head. "First off, Boom brain, I am not a whore. Second off, you're dead wrong, you'll be wishing you had my food after first bite."
