Today was Friday, the last day before the weekend. They'd only spent a week, and already the two of them felt like they belonged here. The hero classes, specifically Class A, made them feel like a part of them... and despite Bakugo's words, too. To Izuku, it was the biggest Fuck You to the blond that he could think of... and he enjoyed seeing Eve have fun. It was funny how that ended up happening. When they arrived at Nezu's office, he immediately told the Izuku and Eve: "I have nothing more to teach you at the moment. How about you go to Class A? Both heroics classes will be having a joint training session which you will find... informative." His smile didn't leave them very confident, but Eve went forward, dragging Izuku to the classroom. Fortunately for her this time, it was homeroom, so they didn't receive any telling off by Aizawa, even if he was irritated.
As they chatted with their classmates, Izuku heard a sound getting louder outside the door. Based on the pace, it was Allmight in his buffed form, the sign that heroics class wouldn't be far behind her. He burst through the door, grin eager for the day's class. "ALRIGHT EVERYONE! IT IS NOW TIME FOR HEROICS! MEET ME AT SITE BETA FOR CLASS!" As they arrived, Izuku felt a chill go down his spine, as if. Nezu was there. So was Allmight. Class B arrived shortly after they did.
Iida was the first to ask them, after of course, greeting their sister class. "Is this a joint class exercise, sir?"
Allmight smiled, glad that they were all quick on the uptake. With his trademark smile, he stated, "INDEED, YOUNG IIDA! ALTHOUGH, IT IS NOT MY PLACE THIS TIME TO EXPLAIN!"
Everyone looked to Nezu expectantly. He only smiled as the clack of heels could be heard from the door behind him. Out from the shadows... stepped Dr. Isa Rabenherz. As soon as Izuku saw her, he froze, and Eve looked around with some trepidation. Seeing Nezu continue to smile, the duo knew this was planned.
Her voice was commanding and cold, "Most of you will not know me, as I am... only really within certain circles. I am Doctor Isa Rabenherz. I am well known in the scientific community, with a specialty centered around Quirk studies and psychology. I am also a donor to this school, which is what gives me the privilege to come up with today's activity. Today, you will be placed into teams. One will have to defend a V.I.P., or Very Important Person, and extract them to safety, while the other has to incapacitate or "kill" them." Many students tried to object to this, but found their voices lacking once she continued, her presence overpowering them. "Your classes will be mixed so that way there is an element of surprise to each engagement. Any questions?"
Iida raised his hand, hesitantly. He never did things like that, so... it was definitely a sign that Isa had shaken things up. Smiling at the teen, even if it was just slightly, she called to him, her voice the same. "Yes?"
"Pardon my question, but why is a team actively encouraged to... "Kill" the enemy VIP?"
She explained diligently and throughly for them. After all, it was a serious question for a serious topic. "It is encouraged because there will be situations where a villain target must be eliminated at all costs. If arrest is impossible, death is a finality to the situation. Many criminal organizations break if you take out the leader. So it is with this activity. If the V.I.P. is eliminated, the side protecting them automatically loses. If they make it to the extraction point, the attacking force loses. Anything else?"
With the clarification in hand, Iida shook his head. "No, Ma'am!"
A nod, and a final statement, directed towards Izuku and Eve. "Good. I wish to talk with Nezu's students for a moment. Allmight, prepare the teams."
With a bead of sweat down his head, the number one hero stated with a false confidence: "YES! EVERYONE, I WILL BE ANNOUNCING YOUR TEAMS SHORTLY!"
