Tammi"Good morning beautiful." Lynn said as she dried her hair.
"Good morning to you." I said as I watched her. I still wondered what was she mixed with. She had thick dirty blonde hair and bright hazel eyes. They sometimes looked green or grey depending on her mood. "How did the meeting go?"
"It went really good. Thanks for asking."
"Why was it so early?"
"Because he's an early bird and wanted to go jogging and have coffee. I was down with it since im an early bird myself."
"Yes you are. I don't know how you do it. I bet he hit on you to didnt he?" She smiled and nodded her head. "Don't make me have to kick his ass Lynn." I said as I got up making my way to the bathroom
"I told him that I was in a relationship."
"I bet he still flirted with you though."
"It doesn't matter. Its not like I was going to give him the time of day anyway." I smiled as she looked in the mirror at herself. Lynn was the most non confrontational person there was. She was far from a coward but if she could avoid an argument of any kind she would. She didn't just jump in it ready for battle. I really loved that about her among a million other things. But that still didn't stop me from testing her.
"This was your last meeting with him?" I continued.
"No. Why?"
"Maybe I should come with you to your next one."
"If you would like to." She said and my smile widen. She wasn't going to allow me to start an argument with her.
"I would. So that I can keep an eye on him." I didn't get an response. "Did you tell him that you were gay?"
"Why would that matter?"
"Maybe he would have stopped flirting with you."
"I wouldn't want him to do that." I paused and looked at the door wondering if I heard right.
"What did you say?"
"You heard me. He was fine also. Deep melanin complexion. Just how I like them." I walked to the exit of the door and stared at Lynn who was standing in front of the mirror. She held back a smile loving the shocked reaction I had on my face.
"Lynn..."
"What?" We locked eyes in the mirror and she smiles unable to hold it back any longer. I shook my head realising that I been had.
"You're wrong for that." I said smiling
"That's what you get. Stop trying to start an argument." Going back into the bathroom I washed my face and brushed my teeth. My ears perked when I heard some music. Throwing on my robe I went to the door stopping when I seen Lynn in panties and bra jumping around the room with her thick curly hair bouncing all over the place.
"What the hell is this music?" I asked. Although it wasn't my kind of music it was still catchy. I definitely loved how Lynn was moving to it.
"James Baye. (If you ever want to be in love)" She said.
"Who is that?" She stopped and turned off the music and said.
"He is a soul slash pop star. Well that's at least how I see him."
"I didn't know you listen to white boy music?"
"I listen to music Tammi. It doesn't matter the race of the person. If I like it then I like it. This song reminds me of you anyway."
