Lynn
I slowly opened the house door. Slipped off my shoes and made Blue be quiet as I tip toed to my room took off my clothes and slid into bed. Tammi was still sleep. She had no idea how I missed her. I wrapped my arm around her from behind and waited to see if she would wake up. It was twelve at night and after working the long hours that she work I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't wake either. Unable to wait any longer I kissed her neck then her shoulder.
"I missed you so much Love." She looked over her shoulder at me beaming. She turned to face me.
"When did you get back?"
"Just now." I said pulling her closer.
"Do I have to kill her?" I shook my head in disbelief.
"Look at you choosing valance already."
"For you I'll shoot up a police station." I laughed.
"I'll like to see you do it."
"Don't play with me. I will do it." She said and we both laughed. I pushed a strain of hair away from her face.
"I love you."
"Mmmm I love you to." I leaned in to kiss her but she pulled away.
"I have morning breath."
"It's only like twelve in the morning and since when did I care about that?" I leaned in kissing her this time she welcomed the kiss.
"Tell me everything that went on. I really don't have to kill Diana do I?"
"No." I chuckled. "She was respectful. And she was a lot of help while I was there."
"Good. Where you able to talk to your aunt?" I sighed.
"She's dead." There was a pause then.
"Is that a good or bad thing?"
"I don't know how to feel about it. I didn't then and I don't now."
"How long ago did she pass?"
"I don't know. Di and I found her body."
"What?" She said suprised. "So she recently passed."
"Depends on what you mean by recently. She died a few months ago. Me and Di just happened to be the ones to find her."
"Damn. I'm sorry."
"No need to be. Although she was hell to live with she is in a better place now."
"Hopefully." She said and I laughed. "That wasn't supposed to be funny."
"But it was." I grabbed her pulling her on top of me. "I told Di that we were engaged."
"Um. What she say?"
"That she was happy for us."
"And you believe her?"
"I don't know." I said with a hunch of my shoulders. "It wouldn't matter if she ment it or not."
"Damn right it wouldn't." She leaned over kissing me. "What happens now? With your aunts things? The house?"
