Lynn
After a week of not speaking to Di I got a call from her mother. This was the first. I answered out of respect.
"Hello?"
"I think I would take your offer to come out there."
"Really? What made you change your mind?" I asked already knowing the answer to that.
"I need to see what's going on with you and Diana." I sighed.
"Nothing is going on with us Mrs Emma. Stuff happened and we're moving on from it."
"Moved on how? Diana called me crying. Saying you two friendship was over. You guys was just here in good spirits."
"Did you ask her why we're no longer friends?"
"All she kept saying was that she such a screw up. What's going on?"
"I think you coming is a good idea. But only for your health not to be worrying about me and Diana. Stress isn't good for you."
"I'm not asking permission Lynn..." I sighed.
"Then why are you calling me?" I regretted those words as soon as they left my mouth.
"Well I guess there's nothing else to talk about then..."
"Wait Mrs Emma. I'm sorry. I ment no disrespect. Diana just did some things that I can no longer accept an apology over anymore. You'll have to talk to her if you wanna know. And I know you wasn't asking permission. Again I'm sorry. I would love for you to come."
"Apology accepted. I thought I could get something out of you since I couldn't get it out of Diana. But I'll see you once I get there." With that she hung up. Diana brung this on herself. Our friendship was over and I wasn't changing my mind about it.
"Everything okay?" I turned at the sound of Tammis voice. I didn't know she was home.
"Yes everything's fine. You stay here a lot." She arched a brow up at me making me smile.
"You don't want me to?"
"Not what I'm saying. Why don't you just move in."
"Didn't we have this conversation already?"
"Might have. What do you say?" She seemed to hesitate. "Let's make a deal. The day I ask you to marry me is the day you move in."
"Okay deal." She said and I went to her kissing her.
"Give me a minute. I'll be back." I made my way upstairs and pulled out the ring I got her. I ment to ask her to marry me days ago but so much has happened. It's been a roalicoaster for sure. I was going to ask her to marry me now but I felt my emotions was getting the best of me. I wanted this day to be special. Taking a deep breath I made my way back downstairs. "How about we go out to dinner." I said.
"I'm with it." Said said smiling. That night we dressed up and went out to eat. I had already told the restaurant that I was going to purpose to my girlfriend and I need a cake to come out after. Knowing the owner of the restaurant helped me out a lot.
