“How was you two date last night?” Lillian asked as we entered the kitchen. She was making breakfast.
“It was amazing.” I said still high off the excitement. “We met Kevin Hart.”
“Really? His ass is funny as hell isn't he?”
“Yup.”
“I'm glad you guys enjoyed yourself. What you do this morning?” She asked as she looked over her shoulder. “Ah nevermind." We were kissing. "Do y’all go a day without kissing?”
“I can't go a day without kissing this woman.” Lynn said taking my bottom lip into her mouth making me moan.
“Alright enough of that.” Lillian said. “The food is done.” Although we had eaten already I ate again this woman had me famished. I watched as Lynn made her way to the back yard.
“I told you that woman was in love with you.” My mom said and I beamed.
“Yeah I know that now.”
“So she said she wanted a baby?”
“Yeah.”
“You're okay with that?”
“Of course. Why wouldn't I be?”
“Don't act like you dont know.” She said referring to her grandchild.
“I have to move on mom.”
“I know.” I heard the sadness in her voice. “You have to tell her though.”
“I know.”
“Are you planning on adopting her baby once she has one?”
“Yes.”
“Really?”
“Yes. I love her and I want to spend my life with her. Its only right that I adopt the baby.”
“Are you ready for that?”
“Yes. And I know what your thinking. Why couldn't I be that way when I had my son. But im going to find him mom. Im going to do the best that I could by him once I do.”
“I can't wait until that day comes.”
“Me either.”
“I never seen you this affectionate with anyone before either.”
“Lynn brings that out of me. That woman is so affectionate. Even when im irritated she's still affectionate.”
I see how she be all over you.”
“Yeah. She really can't resist me when I wear a skirt. She loses her cool.”
“Really? What do you mean by that?”
“She'll be all over me even more then her usual.”
“I wanna see that.”
“I didn't bring a skirt. She made me promise not to wear one because it drives her crazy.” Lillian laughed.
“Wow. Well I was going to give you your present tomorrow but if I could see this you can have it early.”
“You got me a present?”
“Yup its upstairs in your old room in the closet.” I went and got the present and laughed when I seen that it was the skirt I had wanted. It was two in fact.
“I love my mamma.” I laughed. I changed into the skirt glad that it matched what I was already wearing.
“Would you like anything to drink sweetie?” Lillian asked Lynn as she fiddled with her phone with baby Daniel.
