-Dabi-
"This better work pops." I ended up snapping at a purple mist-covered man.
"Do not worry Dabi. I will open another portal when." Kiroguri was cut off.
"Get more members! If you can look for healers! God, we aren't much of a raiding party if all we are is tanks and DDs." Shiggarki snapped back.
I rolled my eyes, and walked through the purple portal, to get away from the flaking man. I came out on the other side to a busy city.
The sun wasn't even set yet vs Japan's rising sun. People are busy walking the streets, playing on their phones, or phone calls. In Japan, it would be frown apon. "Welcome to America." I scoffed.
I shoved my hands in my pockets and started walking. I could feel eyes on me from my scars covering most of my body. So this wasn't new. I sighed and leaned my head back, as I walked.
"Where the fuck do I even go to even find the people we need?" I ended up asking out loud. I rolled my eyes and sighed. I pulled a cigarette out of my pocket and lit it with my thumb.
A tiny blue flame lit it, I closed my eyes and took a long drag on it. I held it in before I felt like I bumped into something or someone. My eyes sprung open and I looked down. A girl was looking up at me with pleading eyes.
Eyes that almost looked like I was looking into a mirror. Her chestnut hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, with bangs trying to hide her eyes.
"Airmed! Watch where you're going!" A man's voice broke me out of the trance of her blue eyes. The girl quickly stiffen and then looked down, like there was more than just him scolding her.
"Dude it's fine. I wasn't watching where I was going." I rose to protect her. To be honest I don't know why. I never like people attacking the weak, so maybe that's why but it felt like something more.
Like those blue eyes pulled on my heartstrings which I thought I lost a long time ago.
"I... I'm sorry. Sir." She meekly squeaked out. She sounded like a mouse trapped in a corner.
"Look little one I might like to be mean looking but I'm not gonna eat you, and it's fine," I answered back. I pulled the cig back to my mouth and was about to drag on it before the ass spoke up again.
"It doesn't matter if it's fine she needs to learn her place." He grabbed her arm and yanked her to him.
"Dude!?" I growled. Sprung my arm up and blue flame covered it. I was ready to burn this asshole.
"No! It's okay!" The girl squealed. She stood between me and him. Even though her eyes were pleading for help she was trying to stop it.
I looked at her, her child-like face was bruised and my blood boil. It was looking at my mother when my father lost his temper when she didn't give him the perfect child.
"Please." Her words were just a whisper but I heard her. I slowly lowered my arm and my flames extinguished.
I took a step back before I opened my mouth and say something I regret. I turned my back to them and started walking away. As my gut was telling me to turn and take her with me I had a mission. And the way she was she wasn't going to be useful to LOV. I kept pushing forward.
