-Airmed-With Bull gone I could finally be myself and hang out with the Iron Manor tendance. Granted every day someone had to help me change my bandages. Today was supposed to be Andrew's turn.
With Emmy and Michelle having gone on a side mission, Shane was with his girlfriend for the weekend. It left me and Andrew at home.
It was maybe mid-afternoon noon before I heard a knock at my door. Knowing who it was I just opened the door to find Andrew with a paper bag and a soda cup.
"Hey, I brought you some food. I hope you'll like it." For once he wasn't that scary. I smiled and step out of my room closing the door behind me. I took the bag and soda.
"Thank you." I squeezed the air out.
His smile slowly fade and he became a bit hesitant, rubbing the back of his head. "Look I know you haven't been here that long but I think you're really pretty, and I hate the way Bull treats you."
His words hit me and it felt odd, these past days I didn't even think of Bull. I barried that night away and locked it. But when he brought the way he treated me, the door was starting to creak open.
"Oh, well. I guess...." I didn't know what to say so I quickly changed the subject, and started going through the bag. "Thank you for the food!"
I pulled out the cheeseburger and opened the yellow wrapper, taking a bite out of it. It tasted like your typical fast food burger.
"Oh... Yeah... You're welcome." His voice mellowed out and I could tell he was disappointed. "Anyways do you want to go hang out? I know several places that are good scenery, and maybe we can catch a movie or something."
I smiled slightly. "Okay, sure! It sounds fun." In my mind, I thought maybe this is my only opportunity to get to know Andrew before Bull came home and put me on the shelf again.
I saw his face lit up. "Awesome. I guess after you eat we will hang out for the day and at the end, I'll change your bandages." I smiled and took another bite of my burger.
We walked downstairs and I finished my burger, and drink. Then we headed out.
We walked through a park and made small talk. Andrew was a big fan of Iron Bull and wanted to come just like him. But when he said that it felt wrong. My gut was turning, thinking about Michael.
"Hey, are you okay?" Andrew stepped in front of me and he put his hand on my shoulder. From how he was acting, I guess I went pale.
I nodded and gave him. a smile. "Ye-yeah I'm okay." I lied. I quickly looked around to see if I could distract him.
A little girl ran around until she fell in front of us. She sat up and started crying grabbing her scrapped knee. I moved around Andrew and knelt to the little.
"Hey, sweetheart it's gonna be okay." The little girl sniffed and looked at me, rubbing her eye.
"It hurts." She sobbed.
"I know sweety I know." I crept close to her. "Let me stop the pain okay." The girl nodded and I placed my hand on her knee. The small scrap went away and she stopped crying.
She looked at her healed leg and then jumped up. "All better now?" I asked softly.
"Yeah! Thank you, Miss." After that, she hugged me and ran back to where she came from. Andrew stood behind me and I could feel his eyes on me. I could hear him say something but I couldn't make out what it was.
