I laid Airmed on the couch. She was looking pale and I could see blood dripping from her mouth from her coughing fit. Viper released enough venom to make sure her last kiss to me meant death.

Airmed's friend was frantic, kneeling and cradling her friend's head. Her two color eyes were filled with horror as Airmed coughed once more.

"What the fuck happen to her!?" Her face swung to me at stared at me. For once I was slightly afraid. Not from her friend but for Airmed's life.

"Long story short Blue, she healed me and it backfired on her." I sounded like I didn't care but that was far from the truth. She jumped up and was about to point her finger at me.

"I know there's more to that!" But she stopped when Airmed gasped for air. Her friend quickly stopped her attack and went back to her.

I couldn't help but stand there and stare. This girl risked her life to save mine. No, and I mean no had ever done that, on their own will. So why? Why would this girl do that?

"Hey!" I shook my head when I felt eyes on me. Airmed's friend was glaring at me. "Do you know anyone who can help her?"

Right when she said that I saw a blood trail down her face from her nose. I was running out of time. I sucked in the air and held on to it.

"I...I need to make a call." I blew out. I walked out of the room. I felt something warm run fast on my cheek. When I went to wipe it, it was my blood.

I rubbed it between my finger and let out a dry laugh with the breath I was holding. I was starting to go crazy. I didn't know who to call except one person.

I picked my phone out of my pocket and hit the one number I had saved. At this point, I didn't care who I called. I just hoped they answered.

I opened my eyes and I could see a playground. There sat a little girl that looked exactly like me. She was in a pink little sun dress swinging on a swing.

Her light brown hair tousled around her shoulders and pulled back into a high ponytail tail. Other children played around until one slipped on the wood chips.

When the boy fell down the little Airmed jumped from her swing to help the boy open. The boy started crying but the little me hugged him.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay!" She pulled back and saw his scratched-up hands. She went to kiss them.

I couldn't help but smile. This was a memory of how my quirk came to fruition. I was early and got my 2nd birthday. I am guessing this was my 2-year birthday party.

Before little Air's lips touched the boy she ended up using her quirk. The scratches were now on her. Little tickles or blood ran down her tiny hands as well as random bruising.
