-Airmed-
Days turned to weeks, and a couple of weeks have turned into a month. Here I am, on the hardwood floor petting the grey kitten name Kashi, that Chisuke named.
I leaned against the wall and sighed. I am loving living on my own but I needed to get a job and didn't know how. I looked down to see the kitten curled up on my lap purring away.
Suddenly I felt sick to my stomach. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom nearly holding everything in. Once my head hit the toilet everything came up with it.
After losing my breakfast I sat on the tile floor. Then panic started to settle in. "oh god please no!" I looked down at my stomach and placed my hand on it. "No....no....FUCKING SHIT NO!" I was screaming no before Megumi ran into my room and found me on the floor of the bathroom.
"What's wrong?! I heard you from downstairs!" She was crying out to me. I clung to her leg before she squatted down. "REI! What is wrong?!"
"I'M PREGNANT!" I screamed at top of my lungs that I'm sure Andrew or even Michael heard it on the other side of the world.
Megumi hugged me tightly and barred my face into her chest. She rocked my body trying to soothe it. "Hey....it's okay we will figure it out okay." She kept rocking. "it will be okay."
"No..." I felt snot coming out of my nose as I begin to ugly sob into her. "He will find me! He will find....me" I clung to her like I was falling through the floor.
"Hey! Airmed. He....will. not find you. I promise." I sniffed hard as she continues to rock me.
"How about this we go to the 7-11 down the street and I'll grab you a prego test, and you can grab your foods for the week among with Kashi's." I pulled enough to look at her and wipe my nose. I softly nodded and she stood up holding her hand out for me to reach.
I softly grasped it and pulled myself up. "Okay." My voice was meek, and my face was red from screaming and crying. She tried to give me a reassuring smile but my sour mood was not letting anything go lightly.
We walked down the stairs and started walking down the night-lit street to 7-11.
-Dabi-"Damn it I'm so tired of them just throwing me out here without filling me in," I grunted looking up at the night sky.
Toga laughed, "looks like someone cranky! Maybe you just hangry?" The blonde girl laughed. She skipped around me, without a care in the world. "Let's stop by that gas station! Grab something to eat, before you go roasting things again." She was getting on my nerves.
"Sure." I rolled my eyes and started walking, towards the station.
The blonde stood outside playing on her phone while I went in. The door rang as I entered. With my hoodie over my head so I could keep my face hidden, and my hands in my pockets. I was already pissed off when I heard my neighbor screaming her head off. I wasn't sure which one it was. But that scream I knew all too well, especially when I was having night terrors in my teenage years.
