-Airmed-
"Hi, there?" A female voice rang out from the pitter-patter of the rain. It spooked me and make me jump from my swing and turned to her. That's when my body let loose and I could feel the floodgates burst.
The warm golden liquid ran down my legs from holding it for so long. I bite my lip, trying not to breathe. I felt like I could die at any moment. Either from embarrassment or the stranger.
When I finally looked at the face of the stranger she looked back with two different colored eyes. One red and one golden. Her hair was pulled back into a long blue braid, with a peek-a-boo red braid in the front. She was wearing what looked like a kimono but was worn like a jacket with a white under top and biker shorts.
A pink umbrella was in her hand keeping her dry, among what looked like a year-old boy. I blinked hard trying to flush the rain out of my eyes. Come paired to her I was nothing but a drowned rat.
"I said hi." Her voice was higher pitched like she was trying to tease me. I wanted to say hi back but at the same time, I wanted to run. Too much happened in the past few days, even months.
"Hahaha" my voice was shaking and I couldn't get anything more than an H sound. The stranger sighed and then looked at the boy.
"Mama...ouch. she ouch." My eyes widen and my head jerked back. Slowly her eyes met mine again.
"He hasn't grown into a quirk yet but other than that he can smell blood on people. Are you hurt?" She asked. Her face seemed friendly, and what I've learned is females are my friends and maybe a few males like Shane. Slowly I nodded my head.
The stranger looked at her boy and then at me. "Well if you want to you can come with us. It's not much but at least it's out of the rain." She smiled at me and I was like a deer in headlights I didn't move. I didn't even blink. With a sigh, she looked at her little boy. "Come along Chisuke."
She started walking but the boy's eyes never left me as he walked. But he stopped and made the women turn. "What?" She asked as she squatted down to him.
"Ouch. Big ouch." He pointed to me. The woman looked back at him. And he turn and touch his back the best he could. "Ouch." I held my breath. The child knew where I was hurt at. He looked up at me. "Mama, help."
I slowly let out my lungs and then fluttered my eyes close. I opened them and breathe in. I nodded and breathe out "okay". The boy held out his hand for me. I slowly took it and we started walking.
We reach what seemed like an abandoned hotel. By the time we got there, the little boy was being carried. She handed me the umbrella as she opened the door to enter.
"Now we aren't the only ones living here. We live on the 2nd floor. Room 206." I nodded and closed the umbrella as I entered. I should whatever droplets I could off before bringing it in.
