Monday, December 13th

George waves, and I smile immediately in his presence.

All my worries from before disappear in an instant as he starts walking up to us.

Sapnap pats him on the back, and we prepare to walk to the house.

"Hey," I say, smiling.

"Hey." He responds, a wide smile plastered on his face.

"You're gonna see our house again, Georgie." Sapnap adds in, arm around George's shoulders.

George's smile doesn't disappear. "Gonna sleep there this time, too."

My heart flutters at his words, everything about him still feels unreal to me.

"So, where did you guys go?" He asks.

Sapnap speaks up. "Ziplining."

George chuckles. "I bet you guys are tired, then."

He shakes his head. "Nah dude, it's called having a shitty sleep schedule."

"Can't be worse than mine." I add in, and Sapnap chuckles.

"Dude, you literally don't sleep. Sometimes you make me genuinely question how you're still alive."

"Fair enough."

George chuckles, and the sound makes the corners of my mouth turn up slightly.

We start making our way home.

---

When we finally enter the house, Patches immediately runs up to George when she sees him.

He smiles and bends down to pet her happily.

"What do you guys wanna do?" I ask, walking into the living room.

"We probably should've planned this out earlier." George responds, smiling.

Sapnap starts grinning. "I know what we should do."

George and I both turn to face him with confused expressions.

"Bowling."

I sigh and roll my eyes. "Couldn't you have told us that before we walked all the way back from the subway?"

"Great minds take time to come up with good ideas, Dream."

"Aren't you guys tired already from the ziplining?" George asks.

I shake my head. "Not really, you?" I turn to face Sapnap and he shakes his head.

"My muscles are tight as fuck but besides that I'm doing good. Bowling will loosen them up."

He pats me on the back hard and I flinch.

George smiles. "Alright, let's go."

We all exit the house again, and start making our way back to the subway.

Sapnap and I go to the bowling alley often, so I don't need to check anything on my phone.

---

When we finally reach the bowling alley entrance, a thought suddenly occurs to me.

"Sapnap, we're gonna have to earn this money back. We've already spent so much today."

He shrugs. "We'll be fine. We're on leave, anyway. We have to work again in like, two weeks."

He quickly walks up to the reception to book our place, whilst George and I stay behind.

He turns to face me once Sapnap is talking to the receptionist. "Where do you work?"
