Chapter 28:
-Cassie's POV-It's the same thing basically ever morning. He never tells me why he does this.
"Max." I said once last time before he fully disappeared.
"Cassie, it's not worth it, trying to talk about isn't going to help."
"Max im not trying to put pressure on you but you always seem upset at times when you think about it." I turned around facing the stairs.
He left, and I didn't even hear him leave.
"I'm a terrible sister." I said in a whisper and I walked into my room to get ready.
-at school-
"How is Max and that girl he likes?" Ryan said closing his locker.
"Well, he didn't seem so happy when I asked why he beats himself up over her."
"Well it just seems like he wants to deal with this on his own."
"I know he does, but he thinks that if he asks her out she'll just say yes because she'll feel bad for him." I said stopping so I could get a drink of water from the water fountain.
"Well maybe we should ask her is she likes him." Ryan said shrugging his shoulders a little bit.
"What? No we shouldn't go and ask. What if she doesn't and Max asks her out?" I said fixing my hair the way it was parted.
"Well it was a suggestion. But what if she does say she does. Then what? We can't tell her he likes her."
"Well we kinda could say he has a baby crush on her."
"So ask her then?"
"I guess. So do you have any classes with her?"
"I don't think so. You?"
"I might, her name sounds so familiar, but I don't know." I said.
"Well we should definitely hear out for her name then, and then if we hear her name we could go and ask her if she wants to have a talk." Ryan said grabbing my hand.
We started walking down the hallways faster then we normally did so we could talk about it closer to the classroom.
"What if Max gets mad that we are doing this though." I said in a whisper because his classroom is two doors down and he stands in the hallways all the time.
"Well hopefully he doesn't." Ryan kissed me on my lips, "lets get in the room before anybody comes by."
I hoped nobody heard about what we were talking about or just know anything in general because we don't need anything to happen.
-Lucy's POV-
"Hear that girls?" I said closing my locker. "it looks like our little friend has somebody crushing on her. And I think it's time to have a little chat with her."
We turned around and walked into the classroom where our dear good old friend sat.
"Hey Lily." I said bending over on her desk.
"Hey Lucy."
"So we kinda over heard that there's some guy crushing on you." I turned at look at the girls.
"Really?"
"Yeah. He told me to tell you to met him by the janitors closet."
Once I saw her smile about that I turned around walked to my seat and laughed.
