The Worst Day Ever

CHAPTER 6:

When I walked into school EVERYONE was looking at me, pointing and laughing at me.

"What did I do that was so funny?" I asked myself.

I walked to where everyone was at.

"NO! MY CONVERSION WITH RYAN WAS ON THE BULLETIN BORED! Who would do that?!?! Oh no, the person I was talking to wasn't Ryan it was...... LUCY! I should have known that Ryan never liked me. UGH! Lucy is a total jerk!"

I ran away crying passed Ryan, Lucy and her group. I saw in the corner of my eye that Lucy was laughing along with her group, but Ryan had this look on his face. The look of anger towards Lucy, he clearly didn't know she stole his phone and texted me those things.

I ran into the bathroom then ran into the stall and locked it. I sat in there for about an hour, until Mrs. Hope waked in.

"Cassie? I know your in here. It's just me, Mrs. Hope. I saw the bored. Im so sorry."

I unlocked the stall, walked out and looked into Mrs. Hope eyes. My eyes were puffy and red. I felt like crying again.

"Oh Cassie. Its ok, my Junior year the boy I like his girlfriend pulled the same trick on me. I cried like you did, but I made myself better. I made myself better by going home and doing something I LOVE, writing. So Cassie you are welcome to come to my room and do something you love. I promise."

"Thanks Mrs. Hope. I'd love to go into your room and do something I love to get my mind off of this, but do you think I could get an instrument from the band room first?" I asked.

"Of course you can. What instrument makes you feel better?" Mrs. Hope asked me.

"The violin" I said answering Mrs. Hope

"Oh wonderful! I love the sound of the violin." Mrs. Hope said excitedly.

Mrs. Hope and I walked to the band room together so I can get the violin. After I grabbed it from the case we walked to her room which was E115.

She sat at her desk grading papers. I sat in the in the back getting ready to play the song I've learned, "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.

I closed my eyes thinking about every note. I began to play the song. After half way through the song I saw Mrs. Hope smiling and she had tears run down her face, I kept playing the song and by the end I had tears running down my face. I finished playing the song a few minutes later Mrs. Hope ran up and hugged me.

"Cassie that was so... beautiful." She said with tears still down her face. "How long have you been playing?"

"Thanks and I've been playing since I was 10."

"Well you are such a wonderful player Cassie. you should try out for the talent show coming this May. I know you would make it if you play your violin."

"Maybe I will. Thank you so much Mrs. Hope! Thank you for making me feel so much better now. Well 6 period is about to start got to get to Biology. See you later."

"Your welcome Cassie, see you later bye."

I walked out of Mrs. Hope's room to go to the band room so I can put the violin away and go to Biology. My day was terrible, but then it turned out to be better thanks to Mrs. Hope and her talk. Now I just wish the whole thing about the text messages with "Ryan" would go away. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Sorry for not posting in a while, I've been busy with school and having to go to basketball games for band. Im going to try to write more now. My best friend has been giving me some pointers to write better so thank you Aly for helping me with these pointers ^.^ *for Aly* if anything needs to be fixed and if you want to give me more pointers for me writing that be great thanks girl love you. *for everyone* thanks again guys if you are reading this it means so much to me (:
