Chapter 8
On our way home Max asked Ryan some questions like stuff about his life like how he lives, has any siblings, about his parents, favorite things to do, stuff like that.
We finally came home, my dad asleep on the couch watching the football game, like always but it's never a bad thing because it's cute how my dad sleeps, it's like a baby and my mom was cooking.
"Hey mom. I brought someone over I like you and dad to met." I said.
"That's awesome Cassie, I'm just in the kitchen cooking dinner."
"Ok. Come on Ryan you can met my parents then we can go into my room and hung out." I said.
"Awesome." He said.
"Mom this is Ryan, Ryan this is my mom, Jen."
"Nice to meet you Mrs. Hudd." Ryan said shaking hands with her.
"You too Ryan, and just call me Jen."
"Well nice you met you, Jen." Ryan said with a smile on his face.
"Mark get up, we have a visiter."
"Huh? Oh hey I'm Mark and you are?"
"I'm Ryan, I'm Cassie's boyfriend."
"Boyfriend! Well then we need to make some rules for this." My dad said putting his arm around Ryan's shoulder walking and talking about the "rules".
"Oh Cassie he's so cute, I'm happy he asked you out." My mom said putting the last batch of pizza in the oven.
"Thanks mom, I'm really happy he did to." I replied with a big smile on my face.
Ryan and my dad came back from their talk and they were laughing and still talking about somethings, I couldn't really hear what they were saying, Ryan's laugh is so cute.
"Cassie, I like this boy. You have my permission to date him." My dad said.
I ran up to my dad hugged him and said "Thanks dad I love you."
"Love you too sweetie." he said kissing my forehead.
Ryan and I walked upstairs together to just chill and maybe still practice my violin.
"Your family seems really nice Cassie." Ryan said as he sat down on my bed.
"Thanks." I said as I say down next to him. "Ryan? Do you mind if I play you a song on my violin? I need to practice for Monday."
"That be wonderful. You know I always loved the sound of the violin." He said with a smile on his face.
"Cool, just let me get ready."
I took out my violin and got my stand with my song sheet on it.
"Are you ready?" I asked Ryan.
"I am." He said laying down on my bed.
I began to play "Let It Go". Ryan ended up sitting on the edge of my bed looking at me. He had the face of amusement on it he seemed to like it.
When I finished three minutes later and he applauded to me and came up hugged me.
"Cassie that was really pretty, I love it." He said smiling.
"Thanks Ryan, it was Let It Go from the movie Frozen." I said.
"Frozen? Oh that new Disney movie, I've always wanted to see it."
"Really? I have the movie we can watch right now if you want."
"Let's do it." he said grabbing my hand.
"Ok just let me get the movie from downstairs, I'll be back in like two minutes." I said smiling.
"Ok, I'll be right here."
I ran downstairs to get Frozen from the movie case. I heard something coming from upstairs, I stop moving and listen to what was happening. I smiled.
