Bus Ride Home

Chapter 4:

I got on the bus to go home. The bus ride was never fun because Lucy rides the same bus as me. She makes my life terrible, all she does it bully me about how I'm smart and how she knows I like Ryan. I just ignore her for the 30 minute bus ride listening to my music and maybe talk to Mr. Bazz, my bus driver.

"What's wrong Cassie?" Mr. Bazz asked.

"Lucy is my problem. All she does it bully me about how smart I am and how I like this kid." I said.

"Well you know Cassie, just because you are smart and like this kid, don't let her get in your way of being you, you are smart and you can like whoever you want without her being mean. Anyways who is this boy you like?" He asked.

"Well he is super sweet and also smart. he's popular so he barely talks to me, BUT today he stood up for me when Lucy was being a jerk to me at lunch, again. Anyway some bad things about this boy is he is dating Lucy, and that sucks! Ryan is this sweet boy, but he's dating that girl. They are completely opposite from each other. He's nice, she's not, he's smart, not her." I explained.

"Listen her Cassie, don't let Lucy get in your way of liking Ryan. I believe that one day you will get with Ryan. By the why you explain it, id say you two are completely the same. You're both very smart, and you both have the same personality." Mr. Bazz said with a happy smile on his face.

"Thanks Mr. Bazz, I just know one day Ryan and I would be happily together without Lucy in our lives." I said with my happy smile on. "Well here's my stop. Thanks again for this talk, it really lifted me up. See you tomorrow."

"Bye Cassie, see you tomorrow."

I got off the bus and walked home. Lucy might be a total jerk, but at least one person besides my family cares and will defend me when someone is mean and that boy name is Ryan Map.
