Chapter 9
-Ryan POV-
I was sitting on her bed waiting for her to come back with the movie. I looked at her violin.
I got off the bed and walked up to it, picked it up and looked at her music that was on the stand. "Let It Go" From the original movie Frozen. I put the violin up on my shoulder. I began trying to play the music, I've played a violin before, but it was when I was like five years old.
Four minutes later I finished playing the song. I heard someone clapping, Cassie.
"Cassie? Was she listening the whole time?" I said in my head.
"Ryan I didn't know you played the violin." she said.
"Oh. Haha, I haven't played in over twelve years, I was five when I first played, but we moved and we had to cancel my lessons and after that I've never played." I said.
"Well Ryan, it was beautiful. You know you can join the orchestra, the next additions are before the end of this semester." Cassie said to me with that cute smile on her face.
"Do you really think I'm good enough?" I said.
"Yeah. You just need music to play and I might know a song that can you play." She said walking over to her desk to get a folder with a whole bunch of music in it.
She pulled out a sheet of music. It was a song I knew, "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz.
"If you play this song amazingly then you can get first chair, I'll probably get third like always." Cassie said.
"I wouldn't mind what chair I get as long as I get to be with you then I'm fine." I said looking into her eyes smiling. She started to blush.
Cassie started to smile. "Ok Ryan I wanna hear you to play the song, if you can't get everything then that's alright, I'll help you." She said.
"Haha alright." I said picking up the instrument.
I began to play the song. I did miss a couple of notes, but that didn't stope from playing the rest of the song.
I finished playing the song about two minutes later, and Cassie seemed surprised that I played the song really well.
"So how did I do?" I asked.
"Ryan, you did a wonderful job, if you just fix those couple of joeys then I see you being first or second chair." she said smiling and grabbing the violin and putting it on her desk.
"Really? Thank you Cassie!" I said grabbing her by her waist and picking her up.
"You're welcome, Ryan." she said smiling as I spun her in a circle.
"Her hair is so pretty like this. I love it.... I love her."
"Cassie? Can I tell you something." I asked as I put her down.
"Yeah you can ask me anything."
I grabbed her hand and looked in to her gorgeous eyes and said "Cassie. I love you."
Her eyes lit up smiled and she replied "I love you too Ryan."
I leaned towards her and kissed her lips.
