CHAPTER 3:
School was the same as always. Everyone ignores me and teases me. Max and I never see each other at all which is pretty sad because he would be the only person that would actually talk to me. None of that even matters anymore because in three weeks ill be done with all of the Juniors and be with the Seniors with only two people who know about my nerdy mess, Max and Ryan.
In class I sit down near Ryan (biggest mistake ever). Lucy Mell, girlfriend of Ryan, walks in with her "group" to sit next down to Ryan and his friends.
"Haha, girls look at this, the little nerd thinks she can sit there, how cute." Lucy said in her sassy voice.
"S-sorry" I said very quietly.
I got up and moved all the way to the back in the room were no one else sits. I guess the best part of sitting in the back is I still get to see the perfect view of Ryan.
"What does he see in her" I say in my head. "She's so mean and busy, Ryan is the complete opposite of her. He's a sweet, loving guy."
"Alright class!" Mr. P snaps "Get your homework and pass them up!"
I was so zoned out of thinking that I almost fell out if my chair from Mr. P's scream. Mr. P isn't a mean teacher he's just a goof that thinks if he yells he would sound like a teacher that you don't want to get in trouble with. The real secret about Mr. P is that he's a really chill guy (I would know because I hang out with all of my teachers whenever I have free time). I passed up my 100% complete homework to the front, and our math lesson begun.
Through out the rest of the day I find myself thinking of just Ryan defending me against Lucy at lunch.
-flashback to lunch-
"Hehe look girls the freak is back!" Lucy said.
"Lucy give Cassie a break. She hasn't done anything to you." Ryan said.
Ryan defended me against his own girlfriend, that's something you never see at school.
"Oh Ryan don't defend the poor little freak."
"Lucy, leave her alone. Cassie is a sweet girl and doesn't deserve to be treated this way."
I'm a sweet girl in Ryan's eyes. I think I just died.
"Come on Cassie, I want to tell you something." Ryan said grabbing my hand. I'm dying right now.
"Cassie, I'm really sorry about Lucy. She can be.... um kinda mean sometimes."
"No it's fine, don't be sorry Ryan." I said almost whispering.
"Well I better go. She awaits for me. Ill talk to you later ok? Bye"
-flashback ends-
Ryan, actually caring for me is a miracle. Why does Ryan have to be dating Lucy?
