Chapter 7:

"This day will be better." I told myself out loud when I woke up to get dressed. "You just got to make this day perfect, let no one get in your way Cassie, no one."

I got dressed and did everything I had to do before school.

"Good morning Cassie." Max said.

"Morning Max." I said getting my breakfast.

"Soooo yesterday... I saw the board, I'm really sorry. Lucy is just a bitch and you know that. Why do you let her over power you Cassie?"

"Oh... Well she knows I like her boyfriend Ryan Map and she wants to make my life hell. All she wants to do is make me miserable."

"Cassie, she only does this is because she knows you won't do anything about it." Max said "Cassie?"

"Y-yeah?" I said.

"Do you want a ride to school today so you don't see Lucy on the bus?" Max asked.

"THANK YOU MAX!" I said happily.

I got ready and so did Max. I wore a black and white striped short sleeve shirt with dark blue jeans. Max wore a black shirt with shorts.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Yes." I answered back.

--AT SCHOOL--

"Ok Cassie this day CAN'T be ruined by Lucy. Be brave don't let her take you down. Stand up for yourself." I said in my head as I walk to my locker to get my books.

"Cassie?" someone said.

I looked behind my locker to see Ryan.

"H-hi" I said shyly.

"Cassie yesterday." He paused to think. "Lucy is a bitch to you and I know what she does and I'm a bad person for never doing anything to make her stop. When I saw you run to the bathroom my heart it sunk. Im really sorry Cassie." Ryan said grabbing my hand.

"Oh." I said blushing a little. "it's ok Ryan, you don't have to be sorry for me."

"WOW HIS HANDS ARE REALLY SOFT!"

"But Cassie, Lucy is nothing but a mean person. And I brake up with her and be with someone so sweet and kind." Ryan said smiling and blushing a little. "Cassie I want to be with you."

"ME?!?!?!? Really?!?"

"Cassie?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah?"

"Would you go out with me?"

"Really? You want to date me?" I said smiling.

"Yes. So what do you say?"

"Yes. I would love to date you." I said blushing.

"Awesome." Ryan said smiling "lets go walk to English class."

"Ok, just let me get my books then we can go." I said.

Ryan and I walked to English together when all of a sudden I felt a soft hand grab mine. I looked down to see that Ryan grabbed my hand again. I stated to blush.

"CRAP! LUCY IS IN OUR ENGLISH CLASS. IF SHE SEES ME AND RYAN HOLDING HANDS WHAT IS SHE GOING TO DO?!?" I started to freak out, Ryan seemed so chill about it though. Does he not care? or does he, but doesn't want to show it.

We walked into the room to see that Lucy was sitting right there in front of the room.

"Good she doesn't see us." I said in my head. "But what if she turns around? What will she say though when she sees us? Is she going to freak out? Is she going to do nothing? Well she.... ? Cassie stop! No more with these questions. Just going to have to deal with it. Stand up, font let her get in my way of dating Ryan".

"Lucy look." One of her friends said.

Lucy looked at the back of the room and saw that Ryan was sitting with me. She gave me the look of "you're so dead." Now I'm scared.

"Good morning class." Mrs. Hope said. "I want everyone to start by opening their books so we can finish the last chapter of "The Story of the Titanic." She said.

"Cassie?" Ryan said looking at me as he was getting his book out of book bag.

"Yeah?"

"Don't worry about Lucy, I'll take care of her for you and plus in two weeks or so we will be Seniors so we won't she her anymore." Ryan smiling.

"Ok thanks, and yeah two weeks or so we will be Seniors." I said smiling.

"Ok class, page 160 for the last chapter and remember we will have a essay on this so make sure you don't return or lose your books because we won't be able to check them out anymore and I don't have any extras."

Mrs. Hope read the last chapter at loud which took almost the whole period because it was ten pages long and of course we had to stop every five minute because Lucy was doing her make up or because she was talking to her friend. We ended up having five minutes left if class so we got to do whatever we wanted.

"So Cassie. Do you want to hang out after school?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah I love to, but instead of riding the bus so we don't have to see Lucy I can ask my brother Max to drive us."

"Cool. I'll met you by your locker ok?"

"Ok." I said

This day went by realllly slow. I wanted 8th period to end so I can see Ryan.

"Alright class." Mr. Hen said (he's the orchestra director) "I want everyone to at least practice one song over this three day weekend and come back with a full or half complete song that you are practicing and I want you to play it out loud Tuesday."

I've been practicing a song which is "Let it Go" from the Disney movie Frozen, which by the way was a cute movie and that was my favorite song and so now everyone can actually hear how I play and not be that violin player that gets hidden from the others and the bass violins.

"DIIIING"

"Finally the bell rung!" I though to myself. "I get to see Ryan and hang out with him. Maybe if he's interested he'll want to hear my practice my song."

I basically ran to my locker and he was there.

"Hey there Cassie." Ryan said smiling

"Hey. I asked my brother and he's cool with taking us home today." I said.

"Awesome."

"Just let me put my books away and then we can go by his car." I said opening my locker.

"Ok take your time." He said.

I put the books that I don't need away and grab the ones I needed. After I finished getting my things, Ryan grabbed my hand and we walked to Max's car.

We waited for fifteen minutes for Max to get to the car.

"Cassie?" Ryan asked breaking the silence before Max arrived at the car.

"Yeah Ryan?" I said.

"Why don't you have any friends? I mean you're so pretty and kind, why wouldn't any not want to be friends with you?" He asked grabbing hand once again.

"Well you see everyone finds me as a dorky girl with no life, no one thinks I'm cool or cute or even alive. Im the invisible girl in school no one wants to be friends with a dork like me." I said having a little tears in my eyes.

"Oh.. Cassie I'm so sorry, I've always wanted to talk to you, but Lucy always held me captive. The first time I messaged you when I asked for Mr. P's homework I didn't really need it, I just wanted to talk you. Then after that Lucy stole my phone when I went to take my shower and she texted you and I didn't know because she sent them to her phone then printed them out at put them on the board. Cassie I'm sorry I didn't know." Ryan said now him having a little tears in his eyes.

"I want to hug him, but u don't want to make the first move. What if he finds it weird that I hugged him? What if...." I couldn't finish my thought because I felt arms wrap around me, Ryan hugged me. I was shocked for a minute before I hugged him back. I just wonder if he read my mind because I highly doubt that he knew I wanted to hug him so badly then he just hugged me tighter and tighter until Max showed up.
