Audition

Day 16:

-Cassie POV-

"Lucy?! Why are you here?" Ryan said having a mad look.

"Oh you don't know?" She said we a sassy look on her face. "I'm here to addition."

She was walking closer to us.

"Lucy leave us alone." Ryan said angrily. "You have no rights to be here, we both know you don't play an instrument."

"Oh I don't? Well it seems like I'm here with a instrument." She picked up a small case, a clarinet case.

"You never played that. You never would ever ya an instrument." Ryan said.

"Oh Ryan." Lucy said walking by him. "You don't....."

She was stopped by the ladythat was here to help me practice.

"Are you Cassie Hudd?" She said pointing at me.

"Yes, I'm her." I said shaking his hand.

"I'm Mrs. H. Are you ready to practice?"

"Nice to meet you Mrs. H, and I am ready to practice. Also is it ok if my boyfriend stays with me for now?" I asked looking at Ryan.

"As long as he doesn't cause any disruptions then I'm fine with it." She said looking at Ryan.

"Don't worry ma'am I won't be a bother I'll just sit in the back and listen. I won't say anything at all, I'll just be a mouse." Ryan said with the biggest smile.

"Then alright, let's go in and practice." She said smiling with joy.

Ryan turned around at looked dead into Lucy's eyes and said "leave Cassie and me alone."

Ryan turned to me and said he was just going to go by my family and wait.

Mrs. H and I stated to walk into the room.

"What's that about? if you don't mind me asking." Mrs. H said.

"That's his ex girlfriend. She's a jerk." I said telling her.

"Oh ok." she said putting her stuff down on a desk. "What song are you playing for your audition?"

I looked at my sheet and said "'Fall for You'."

I decided to change my music because I thought maybe if I didn't have a movie song then I'll have a good chance of getting into this collage.

"Alright so all you need to do it play me the song and I'll just go and fix somethings that need to be fixed." She said smiling.

I started to play.

'Fall For You' is a sweet song and I love it. Whenever I listen to it I tear up and whenever I play it on my violin it puts a smile on my face.

Three minutes later I finished the song.

Mrs. H had her head down writing something. Then she looked up.

"That was really good, but try and not to have the face where you are nervous. You're a really good player and I want you to go to this collage because it's the best music collage." She said getting up. "Just when you go out there today, don't be nervous act like you at home with no one there listening to you."

She was right when I'm alone I'm better and when I'm with someone I mess up.

"Is there anything I need to fix?" I asked.

"There isn't anything that needs to be fixed, you seem to be all set." She said. "what time is your audition?"

"Eleven-thirty"

It was eleven-twenty and I had ten minutes to get down there.

Mrs. H walked I front of me.

I was getting nervous. Every step we took I was getting closer to the auditorium making me feel like I'm going to throw up.

"Well here we are." Mrs. H said turning around. "Good luck Cassie."

"Thanks." I said looking at her.

She walked away leaving me in the hallway alone.

It was quiet for a while until I heard my name called.

"It's my turn."
