Chapter 14:
-Cassie's POV-
"Cassie. Cassie. CASSIE!" My mom said .
"Huh? Oh sorry, I blanked out. What's up? I said.
"I said get ready for bed it's late and you need rest for tomorrow. It's a big day." she said smiling.
"Oh yeah, I have a contest."
I have a contest at a high school, and I'm supposed to play a song on my violin and if I do well and the judges love it I can go to the best music collage in America, the University of Rochester (it's the eastern school of music). I could also get a free scholarships.
I would like Ryan to join, but I don't think he knows about it.
I had gotten ready for bed and I was about to go to sleep when all of a sudden I got a text message from someone.
I opened it up and saw it was Ryan.
"Hey I'm sorry for this being so late and your probably asleep right now, but I was wondering of you would like to come and meet my mom over at my house."
"I love too, but it would have to be like after one because I have a contest I have to go to tomorrow."
"Oh. Mhm well where is this contest at?"
"Its at Massville."
"Well may if I tag a long so that after the contest you could come over?"
"Yeah, let me go ask my mom really quick." I said getting off my bed and walking downstairs towards my mom who was still cleaning up some mess she made.
"Hey mom?" I asked. "is it cool that Ryan comes with is to my contest? Then could I hang out with him?"
"Oh yeah that's fine, and who's house would it be at?" She asked still cleaning.
"His house, if that's ok with you." I said closing my eyes hoping she would say yes.
"That's fine. Now go to bed sweetie." She stopped cleaning and came up and kissed my forehead. "good night."
"Good night mom, love you." I said walking back upstairs to go to bed.
I walked into my room and laid on my bed. I then remember to text Ryan back.
"Hey Ryan. My mom said it's ok for you to come along with me to the contest. You just have to come at like seven."
I waited for him to text me back, but I had past out before.
-midnight-
I woke up with a burning pain on my side, I got out of my bed towards my mirror to see how I looked.
Pale like a ghost.
"Why do I look so pale? I don't even feel sick."
I ran into the bathroom to get some water on my, face. I looked up in the mirror again I wasn't in the bathroom anymore.
"Where am I?" I said out loud.
I walked around for a few minutes until I heard a bell noise. Kids coming out of rooms, all passing me.
"What's going on? Why am I in school?"
I looked all around me and then a saw Ryan. I ran towards him, but he seems to get farther and farther away as I was running towards him.
I tried to scream his name, but something stopped me.
It was Lucy, she was with Ryan.
"Why?" I asked in my head.
