Chapter 4.

A couple of days later, it was time for Madison to go to school again. As usual, she kicked up a fuss and Ny had given up reasoning with her. She was fed up of Madison's behaviour and attitude every school morning, so took it upon herself to get Madison ready for school. As usual, she didn't want any breakfast and Ny and Madison were out of the door and on the way to school at 8:15am. That was 15 minutes earlier than usual. Ny dropped Madison off at school and made her way back home to get on with the housework. She got a call at 10:00am to say Madison had been involved in a fight and was going to be excluded for a week. Sure enough, she made her way back to school to collect Madison. She couldn't send Lewis as he still wasn't home.

Ny: Madison, what on earth are you doing? It's not like you to fight!

Madison: Oh shut up.

Ny: Don't you dare tell me to shut up young lady! You're in enough trouble as it is!

Madison: Why what you gonna do eh? You think you know it all? You know nothing!

Ny: We'll deal with this at home.

Madison: What so you can smack me again?

Ny: i've never laid a finger on you in your life and you know I haven't.

Madison: You did last night. You smacked me because I wouldn't eat my tea.

Ny: *to the teacher* I haven't honestly, I've never touched her.

Teacher: We know you haven't. If you had, Madison would have obvious marks on her body.

Ny and Madison made their way home and Madison began playing up again.

Ny: No TV, DSi, DVD's, nothing until you go back to school! I've been given a pile of work you have to do and you can do that!

Madison: Erm how about no? I'm at home so I don't have to do my school work.

Ny: You're at home because you've been excluded! Now sit there and get on with this work! I've got the house work to do!

Madison: *screaming* I said No, why do you never listen you cow? I hate you!

Ny: Go and sit on the naughty step for 5 minutes!

Madison: *laughing* the naughty step is for 2 year olds.

Ny: Yeah and you're acting like one so you'll fit in just fine won't you? You're nearly six years old Madison. It's about time you stopped these childish tantrums! Now go and sit on the naughty step until I come and get you please!

Madison: No.

Ny: *picks Madison up* I said on the naughty step!

Just then Lewis comes home from work and sees Ny and Madison.

Lewis: Hey, what's she doing home?

Madison: She has a name you know!

Lewis: Was I talking to you? No so just do as your Mother asked and sit on the step!

 Ny: She was excluded from school for a week for fighting. She tried telling the teachers I'd been smacking her but luckily they realised I haven't.

Madison: Oi, do you mind talking about me? I can hear you, you know! I'm not deaf!

Ny: Yeah well maybe if you behaved like someone who's nearly 6 years old and not a 2 year old, you'd still be at school! You have to snap out of these childish tantrums Madison. It's embarrassing for us in public and I'm pretty sure people are laughing at you when they see you behaving like you are!
