I...I don't even know anymore. The picture caught my eye while looking through Pinterest a while back and then while writing down the summary of what I wanted to happen in this 'wtf-am-I-doing' oneshot, my imagination went a bit uh, wild. Don't ask how or why this even happened....
This is probably the longest oneshot I've written so far at a whooping 4k words lmao.
Raging, flaming homosexuality in this yes.
Warning: there's a spot where the f-slur is used because someone's dad is homophobic and another part with a bit of suggestive stuff in it. Like it's implied they got a lil freaky freaky, but nothing more.

A beautiful maiden by the name of Rhodeia was born into noble status and treated as such. She lived in the elegant nation of Fontaine, a land filled with flowing water under the rule of the hydro archon. From a young age Rhodeia's future was decided for her, courtesy of her wealthy parents and noble status. When she was at the ripe age of seventeen, almost eighteen, she was forced into an arranged marriage with another aristocratic man from a rich family in order to "strengthen the power of her family name." Rhodeia wouldn't have minded if she hadn't had no interest in men and their vile ways of life. There was something she would never admit to anyone and that was that she had a peculiar love for women and the immaculate shapes of their bodies. Just the way that they moved and the succulent curves of their body was enough to make the young maiden feel some sort of way she shouldn't have.
If she were to ever admit to being highly attracted to women there was no doubt in her mind that her family would put her to shame and publicly humiliate their own daughter for being a lesbianand for not being "normal." There was nothing she could do but to follow her parents wishes and marry the disgusting man she was engaged with, her fantasies of women kept in the closet, hidden from everyone except for her own eyes.
A similar situation was presented in your life, however, you lived in the nation of Inazuma under the ever eternal, peaceful rule of the Raiden Shogun. Though the land of electro was under the quiet command of Baal, your own life was not quite as peaceful as the air around Inazuma City where the cherry blossom petals fell everywhere and the wind carried the calls of the past. No, your life felt like you were burning in the deepest pits of hell.
Why did everything have to be chosen for you? Where the hell was your freedom, your rights to live your own life? You never asked to be put into an arranged marriage with some strange man from Fontaine whom you've never met before in your life. You never asked to be sold off into a different family clan. You never asked for any of this! And so, you decided to run from it all. Start a new life where you were the one in control. To hell with arranged marriages. You'd flee to a different nation and find love for yourself, not be obliged to something you didn't want.
Under the safe cover that the darkness of night provided, you escaped on a small boat you'd bought a while back. At the docks of Ritou no one questioned your little boat and assumed that you were merely a trader traveling to another nation. You didn't know where to go and simply allowed the waves of the water to guide you to wherever. The ocean's ripples lulled you into a peaceful sleep and you allowed it to guide you into a new life. You cared not for which nation it would take you to, only that it would take you far from Inazuma.
As you drifted away in the waters, Rhodeia daydreamed about meeting the girl of her dreams. It was one of those times where she was able to get away from the suffocating atmosphere of her family and have some time to herself down by the shore of one of the many beaches in Fontaine. She had on her favourite lavish, flowy, light blue dress and she had her long, dark azure hair down so that it could sway with the breeze. Rhodeia's sparkling clear skied eyes roamed around the empty beach as she walked barefoot along the shore, looking for anything that might've been of interest to her. In the distance, she spotted a small boat floating in the ocean which immediately caught her attention and sparked some curiosity in her.
