Chapter: 5 "At the Party"

It's friday! And everyone in school is excited for the weekends... There is this rich guy in school who's throwing a party at his place because his parents are out of town for 2 weeks! So he can do what ever he wants..

Issa uttered, "Patty, are you ready for tonight?" Apparently Ella and Betina heard what she just asked me.. "What party?" Asked Betina

Issa looked at me as if she signaling if she can tell Ella and Betina about it....and I just nodded yes.

"Someone from highschool invited Patty to his party tonight...and this guy is also close to Polo..." There was silence. No questions asked.

I love my girlfriends so much that you don't need to explain further because you know they understand you right away.

Ella gave me a hug for Good luck and Betina squeezed my hand telling me "you know were here for you, just a call away."

"I love you girls!" And we had a group hug.

The girls were so excited for me. The party starts at 6:oo pm and Im still getting ready... Betina offered me to drop me off the place where the party's at. Ella and Issa was in the car too and would be going to Betina's place. "Where here." Betina yelled. "Gosh, shouting? Really?" I uttered. "Sorry, Im excited." "Go and good luck! Text us, we'll be glad to pick you up after." Betina replied.

As I entered the bar, the first person I saw is Matt (he's a classmate too), "Matt" i yelled. I approached him and both of us hugged each other. Both of us were saying the exact words "I missed you!"and then I said "Where's David?" (His brother)."He'll follow." We sat down where Luigi reserved a long table at the bar, at least 15- 20 persons can fit the long table, so it wasn't really a big celebration after all. Matt came first, then me... After a few minutes the invited persons are coming, the birthday celebrant is here as well... Everyone was catching up to one another and suddenly we heard a voice from behind saying "guys!", the boys stood up and was greeting him "bro" short for brother. My stomach began to feel weird.. A hand touches my right shoulder, it took me about 15 second before I could react. As I was about to look at that person someone called him and when I finally turned around he was talking to someone else. Great! So I took a deep breath and acted like normal. I was sitted on the right side of Audrey, next to me is Joseph and next to him is Polo and next to him is Jackie... Audrey is the girl Luigi's dating. Its the two of us who got along the whole night. She knew that Polo used to be my bestfriend... While the party is going on, audrey and i noticed something awkward...someone is flirting Polo.. Seriously? Jackie? Jackie was my classmate and she knew the thing that I had with Polo... I couldn't take what Im seeing, so I went to the restroom of the bar and for all I know Audrey was behind me... "What was that all about? Are they together?" Audrey wisphered. "I have no idea!" I answered. "Are you okay, Patty?" Audrey asked. "Me? I think so. We should go back." I uttered.

We returned to the table and sat down on our chairs quietly... Polo looked at me smiling. "Hi Patty!" He said. I just waved at him... Then Jackie stole his attention again! And as the party goes on and its getting a little late, I decided to text Betina and asked her if they could pick me up now.

"Coming!" It was Issa who texted back.

So I stood up and went down to wait for my ride. I didn't bother to say goodbye as everybody was a bit drunk...
Perfect! Someone grabbed my wrist, the hand was cold... When I turned around It was Polo. He was about to say something when then again Jackie and the rest of the gang showed up and he was intteruped and wasn't able to say something. Everybody waves goodbye.. Matt, David and Chen (girlfriend of David) offered me a ride. "It's alright, my friends are coming to pick me up. There on their way here. Thank you!" I said.

Luckly I wasn't the last one there... Jie, stayed until my friends arrive.

I hoped at the back seat of Betina's car and took a deep breath.

"How was it?" Ella asked in gentle manner.

There's only one thing I can say. "It sucks!" Everyone began to close their mouths and Betina uttered, "maybe lets talk about this some other time."
