I woke up to the sound of metal against metal. I open my eyes as I could see Legolas fighting orcs while Gandalf tried to get me out. My minds just struck me, what it seems this is the first time Gandalf had seen my dragon side, "Gandalf!" I said.
I heard the cage door with a 'click'.
I got up with the little bit of strength in me that I had. I headed to the exit that Legolas was at a few hours ago, "Legolas, lets go, she's free."
I heard Gandalf's voice behind me getting Legolas's attention. I started to run; trying to get away as fast as possible. I had finally stopped to the point I was about to pass out. I could see the tree line from here.
I looked behind me to see Legolas running up to me and Gandalf slightly behind. I waited for Legolas to reach me, "I'm sorry for what they did to you and not coming sooner."
I bowed my head. I wish I could talk to him like I can talk to Gandalf. I stayed there until Gandalf had caught up with us, " We need to get you some help," Gandalf said
"My Father might be willing to help," Legolas says as I gave him a angry dragon look.
"Your father will kill me," I tried to say, but my voice didn't make a sound.
"Dragon!"
Gandalf, Legolas and I stood in shock by the voice that was behind us. Gandalf and Legolas turned to see Thranduil with his sword out ready to come at me. Thranduil came running at full force with his sword in front of him.
I closed my eyes ready to the impact, but then there was no pain, no impact. I opened my eyes to see his sword an inch away from me. I looked up to see his face close from mine. We stared at each other for quiet some time as Thranduil loosens softly as like he knew who I was. His eyes were this color only that I could get lost in.
The thing that was making sure he would not touch me was Gandalf and Legolas holding him back. He was the first to break out of our line of sight, "Sh--," I snapped my head at Legolas.
"It's badly wounded, can we help?" Legolas says as he looks back at me with a smile.
I don't like the idea of going back to Mirkwood.
"There's no room for this foul Dragon, Legolas."
What did he just call me? I thought with a snappish tone.
"I can surely conjure something up," Gandalf said.
"I don't want it near the entrance," Thranduil said "It can stay in the forest."
Thranduil turned around and walked away, "and Legolas, your taking care of it."
Gandalf put his hand on my snout then left and caught up the Thranduil, leaving me with Legolas. Legolas and I started walking slightly behind Gandalf and Thranduil. This was going to be a long walk back to Mirkwood. I wondered what Gandalf is going to make for me.
A Month Later
We were nearly there as we saw the gate to Mirkwood ahead of us. Thranduil had already gone back into his palace, "Come, I've already made something for you to stay in," Gandalf said.
I looked at him with a confused look, "Im a wizard, remember?"
Gandalf walked onto this path going down to an unknown location. I figured that what he did was down here and of course Legolas was walking beside me. We walked like what it seems like an eternity, Gandalf finally stops to a halt. When I got closer I was blown away. It was a overgrown enclosure with a mallorn tree in the middle.
