I've wandered over to my tree as they started to have a conversation. This tree was bigger than most trees I'd seen. There was a flat landing in the middle that I could crawl up into and lay if I wanted to. There was also a path leading from the entrance to my tree then leading to a medium sized pond.
I got up on the landing and layed down wrapping my tail around the tree. I then looked over to Lord Elrond and Legolas still talking. I could see movement behind them as I looked to see Gandalf walking toward us. Then the next thing I see is that Gandalf and Lord Elrond walk away leaving me with Legolas.
"I'll come by with breakfast later," Legolas says.
I watch Legolas leave and immediately close my eyes.
I opened my eyes to Legolas being in front of me with a barrel filled with fish. I watched as he picked one up and teased me with it, "If your hungry, come get it," Legolas says as he waves the fish in my face.
I thought about frying the fish with my Dragon fire, but I thought against it. I had gotten up from my tree and went over to Legolas and nudged my mouth closer. As soon as I moved Legolas had moved his hand like he was trying to play with me with my food. Then I watched as he threw it up in the air. I opened my mouth letting out my Dragon Fire to cook the fish, landing it in my mouth.
I started to eat it as Legolas had thrown another one up in the air again. This one I opened my mouth, eating it not cooked. As I ate it I looked up to Legolas, fish in hand.
I looked at the fish as if I was going to take it off of his hand, but remembered that I didn't like to eat in front of anyone. I turned my head toward the woodland behind him, "Oh, I guess I'll have to take all of the fish back," Legolas said as I snapped my head toward him.
I finally caved in and finally bowed my snout to the fish and grabbed it with the mouth, "see it wasn't that hard."
I was about to eat the last fish as Legolas and I had heard footsteps coming up from behind us. Legolas had turned around to see who it was as I was eating the fish, "Coming to check on the dragon?" Legolas asked Lord Elrond as he was looking in my direction.
Lord Elrond didn't give Legolas an answer as he walked toward me; petting me like he did yesterday. He walked all around me, checking me to see if I was healing, "It's still has minor cuts and bruises," Lord Elrond says as he looks towards Gandalf, "this Dragon should be good to go at two moons"
Yay, just one more night until I can change back, I thought.
"Does Thranduil think Im still missing, Gandalf?"
"Yes, he even has guards out looking for you."
"Tell him that im not far from the palace," I said as I looked towards the palace.
I looked toward the sky as the sun was moving alongside the clouds at a normal pace. Oh, I so can't wait for night, I thought. I cant wait to fly again.
Its been a while since I've flown.
"May we take this inside?" Gandalf says looking at me.
"Why?" Asked Lord Elrond as he surveyed the area.
"Nothing in particular."
"We can at most move this inside."
"Legolas, your coming."
"I'll be back."
I watched Legolas follow Gandalf and Lord Elrond back to the palace. I turned my head upward and looked up to the sky that is filled with colours of orange and yellow getting to darken.
