I started to make my way over to Dean who was still sitting outside on my laptop. I flopped in the chair next to him and before he even looked at me he said, "Hello there sleeping Beauty"
"Good morning. How long was I out?" I said while rubbing my eyes. I think I was still half asleep.
"About an hour" Dean still hasn't looked up at me, he was too focussed on the laptop. I moved closer and looked at it with him. It took me a while before I realized what he was reading.
"You're reading Our story?" I asked with a little laugh. "Why?"
"Because why not. We did make this together, so I am one of the authors" he placed his hand on his chest and looked at me with an I'm fucking awsome face.
"Yeah yeah" I rolled my eyes and laughed a bit while looking back into his eyes. To my surprise he didn't look away immediately, so I didn't look away immediately. His smile faded as his eyes roamed down to my lips but came back once his eyes were in my eyes again. Dean was dangerous-no- he seemed dangerous, but in reality he was just like everyone else, he hides his true emotions and acts like he can't feel anything, it was one of the many things I hated about him. But right now. In this moment, I knew he felt something, because I felt something. And this is the longest time I've held eye contact with someone ever since me and Bryan started dating.
"Dean," I said softly.
"No" he said, like he knew my exact thoughts. "Don't say it. Please don't ruin this" He definitely felt something.
"Nothing can happen between us and you know this. I have a boyfriend and Elaina will definitely not like the fact that we'd be getting back together". When Dean and I first dated Elaina didn't talk to him for a month after finding out. She had no choice but to talk to me because nobody else would put up with her bullshit the way I do, but she did always have an annoying attitude with me. I didn't want that again, and especially since Bryan was still in the picture It was just not right for something to happen.
Dean looked back at the laptop like it reminded him of what we had. "I still don't understand why you put up with that man. He puts you aside while he's your everything. It doesn't make sense to me Mia" his tone sounded like he was frustrated.
I wasn't sure what to say because he did have a point. Bryan was my everything while I was just a girl to him. I looked down as I thought about it and played with my rings on my fingers. Dean turned his chair toward me and gently placed his hand on my chin to lift it up, forcing my eyes into his again.
"You deserve to be loved Mia, and I failed at that the first time. All I'm asking now is for you to just give me a chance to show you how much you really mean to me". His eyes begged for forgiveness. I was weak, my stomach filled with butterflies and all I wanted were his lips on mine. I slowly pushed my head closer to his, eying his soft plump lips until they were on mine. His touch made me feel safe, I felt at home as his arm slid around my waist forcing me closer and I didn't fight it. He pulled me closer and I'm almost sitting right on his lap as I run my hand through his hair wondering how long it's going to last before my mind tells me it's wrong and forces me to stop.
But it doesn't. I move onto Dean's lap, his lips still on mine and I almost forget that we are still outside. Dean moves his lips kissing down my neck and parts of my chest and I slowly whisper, "Let's move this into my room".
