"Alright. But, what are you doing here? Also, you never told me, you danced." She said.
Ah, right. My turn to answer the question.
"I have been dancing most of my life. I stop once high school hit, because I was crammed with school work, studying to go to JY Park for medicine and when Minho passed away." I paused.
She still look at me. God! Can she stop being so beautiful? I clear my throat.
"This is my old studio. I used to be apart of the team but now I just dance by myself when I have time after school. Hmm, this woman Lia Kim that I meet a couple weeks ago has been watching me dance. In exchange for this surprise today." I add my explanation.
"Well, that sums it up." She said.
I heard the door open and felt the cold breeze from the outside swoop into the studio. I quickly crossed my arm to protect myself form the breeze. Lia Kim walked in with a black coat in and flats.

"Afternoon, Mina. Who's your friend here?" She greet me.
I looked over to Chaeyoung and I can tell she straightened herself a bit.
"Oh, this is Chaeyoung. She goes to school with me." I introduce Chaeyoung.
"Is she a dancer as well?" Lia Kim asked look at Chaeyoung.
"Hmm, actually my mom is a dancer. I'm not." Chaeyoung said.
"Have we met before?" She asked Chaeyoung to confirmation.
"I think, nope." She reply.
Lia Kim nodded her head in understanding. Then, she look at me smiling.
"Are you ready to get started Mina? Today you complete your dance that you have been working on." She said to me.
I nodded and she plugged her phone in.
Chaeyoung POV
Okay, maybe following Mina was a bit creepy but she was upset and before I could reach her in the parking lot, she was already about to drive away. I followed her to the town and there was this nice vintage studio. Its was quite big and I saw her warming up through the dim lights. She still looked upset and it was obvious that she's been crying. I slowly made my way inside and by the look of it, she was in studio A. She didn't notice me at the door but she was already dancing by the time I walked in. Dancing with your ghost, wise choice. Her body moved with the grace. She was like a calm ocean that had small ripples. Her eyes were closed and she kept glancing now and then in the mirror.
I noticed the song was about to end and I had this weird feeling that I should jump in. I thought it would be nice to see her smile and surprise her. I saw her dancing as if she had a partner and I knew it was the perfect time to cut in and in the last minute of song, I did. Her face held shock and surprise, her face was straight the whole time, not even one smile. She's so soft. Her arms, her waist was small and her bun was adorable. Touching her waist sent me a shock through my arm and give my stomach this sunken feeling. I wanted to smile at her but I didn't want to seem awkward. The ending was about to come, I didn't know how she wanted to end it until I felt myself drop near the floor. She dipped me.
And she's so beautiful.
I was startled a bit wiping away that feeling I had in my stomach. Her face was right above mine, just a centimetres away from where I felt a small spark of her lips being so close as if I wanted to lean in. Shit! Control yourself Chaeyoung! Her eyes were shinny and dark, she had such dominance and power in them. It was scary but beautiful scary. This made my stomach flip this time. Apparently this woman name Lia Kim, has a surprise for her today. But by hearing of it, she seems to be judging Mina by her dance. She looked familiar though just I couldn't really quite pin it. I sat on the floor in the far back near the stereo. Mina was near the front of mirror in her position while Lia Kim plugged her phone in and classical music started playing. She's that type of person I see.
Mina start dance. Her movement were elegant, her flexibility was insane but not as good as a gymnast. She could probably become a gymnast. Her footing was good, and every step she took was like stepping on the lily pad floating on the surface of a pond. She perfectly hit every note and her jumps were high. Very high. She poured all of her emotions into the song. Its crazy how passionate she is about this. I wonder why she's never thought about joining the dance team at school but that's a question for later. She soon ended the song with her laying on the ground like a flower closing up for the night. I heard clapping next to me which is Lia Kim. Mina slowly stood from the ground and I see tears coming out of her eyes slowly.
"What's wrong my dear?" Lia Kim asked.
"Its just.. its been so long that I have dance like that." She said tears still running through her cheeks.
Then, they both laughed and I let out a small smile. Lia Kim walk towards her slowly and Mina stayed in the middle. She was smiling.
"Honey, you are perfect candidate for the Juilliard scholarship." Lia Kim said.
"Juilliard scholarship?" Mina asked for confirmation.
Lia Kim nodded.
"Don't tell me you haven't been looking into it? I'm the headmistress of the dance department and I'm offering you the scholarship at Juilliard." She said to Mina smiling.
My mouth dropped and so did Mina. HOLY FUCK! That's where I know her from! I was looking into Juilliard and going through the staff and that name popped up.
"I-I, uh-oh my god! Just wow.!" Mina was left stuttering.
"You dance divine, honey. And like I said, I haven't seen dancing like that in years. Last I saw it was my partner. But she's gone. She's a great dancer as you. This is a big opportunity. This scholarship has over a twenty five thousand grand on it and covers your supplies that you need. Just think about it. Here's my card. It has my number. When you call, my assistant will pick up and just say your name and she will forward you to me." She said.
"Uh, yeah. I will think about it. Thank you so much. It indeed a surprise." Mina said laugh a bit.
Lia Kim also laugh and grabbed her coat. She walked towards a door and turn to us last time.
"I'm waiting for your call and have a safe night girls." She said to us and walked out.
I looked towards Mina and she was looking right back.
"Holy fuck, Mina." I said.
"Holy fuck!" She screamed.
She ran and jumped into my arms. Luckily I caught her and was hugging her. She snuggled closer to me making me shivering.
"I just got a scholarship to Juilliard!" She said excited still hugging me.
"I know! I'm so proud of you! Are you going to accept it?" I asked.
"I-I don't know. I applied to JY Park and I'm waiting for my acceptance letter." She said.
"Well, I'm also waiting for my acceptance letter. But whatever your decision, I'm proud of you." I said smiling at her.
I set her down on the ground and I saw her blush a bit. Cute. She had this huge smile on her face and I just couldn't stop smiling either.
"Do you want uh, grab a dinner with me at John's? Its just right down the street. So, uh, we can walk to it." She asked.
I nodded. She looked at the card and she took a deep sigh. Then, she looked up at me with a huge smile. It good to see her smile again. She squealed once more and hugged me, jumping up and down. Oh god! Her scent hit me strong making my stomach flip again. I let out a sigh myself and smiled. She grabbed her bag and slipped a navy blue sweater and a black beanie. We walked out together and she locked up the studio. On the way out of the double door, she slipped off the two steps and I caught her. We were in the dip again.
But this time we both smiling.
