Chapter 52

Chaeyoung POV

"Guys, Christmas is in four days!" Momo squealed.

I sat on her couch with Mina and the boys were sitting on the bean bags below us. Sana was grabbing snacks from the kitchen for our plan tonight which is relaxing in Momo's giant movie theatre room and settling down to watch some movies. Instead of watching the classic Christmas movie, they decided to vote on some horror films which is totally not my favourite.

"I'm going to check in Sana." Jackson said.

He slowly got up and went to the kitchen. I saw Momo give him a low stare. What was that about? I felt small tug around my waist which is Mina and I suddenly felt the small butterflies started to swarm in my stomach. We were technically cuddling on the couch while everyone else sat individually to themselves.

"Are you excited?" Mina whispered.

"Its a horror movie. So, not at all." I laughed.

It felt nice having Mina around on Christmas. The past couple days have been different considering I spent it alone for the past couple of years. Going ice skating yesterday was thrilling yet embarrassing because I look like a beginner. I swear before I could move smoothly but considering it been a while I probably look like an idiot. But I have fun. The place was absolutely gorgeous and when we kissed, I swear. This girl is going to kill me. I laughed again and the movie start to roll.

Sana and Jackson came back just in time with candy and popcorn. They both were laughing and I could tell there was of a flirtation. Sana sat next to Momo and passed the food towards her. And god, she didn't seem to be as happy tonight. Kai was crammed in the emergency room lately. I have told Mina that I don't want to get the file and I just want to let it go. Maybe this is the best from me. Him and Jennie respect my decision. But at the same time, I don't know if I make the correct decision as sometime I think I want to know what exactly happen to my mom. I really don't know anymore. The movie was playing but I didn't really pay attention especially to the gory parts or jump scares.

"Hey, I have to go to the bathroom real quick." I whispered to Mina.

She nodded and let go of my waist leaving me felt the cold. Oh god. I want to crawl back into her arms yet I had the urge to go. I left the room and went to bathroom pass the kitchen. I came back out and Bambam was in the kitchen. I tensed up by his presence and not only because he was strong athlete. His presence make me scared because of the incident at the party which is still replays in my head. He stood over the counter eating out of the bowls. His back was turn against me. I slowly made my way past him.

"Chaeyoung, wait." He said.

Damn it. I was hoping I could sneak past him. I slowly turn around and his face was scrunched while munching on his chips. Bambam's hand was held up in the air while the other covering his mouth from his loud chewing.

"I uh- I want to talk about something. And I know, we ended up things on bad terms." He start to trailed off.

He took a step closer but all I did was take a step back. Bambam's eyes shifted downwards and hesitated to go any further. He know I was uncomfortable.

"Sorry." He mumbled.

"I-Its okay." I replied.

I got closer to the hall entrance of Momo's movie theatre and leaned my back against the wall.

"I just want to say sorry. Uh, at the party. It was really uncalled for and a douche bag move. Someone really could have gotten hurt and I put you in danger. I jus-." I cut him off.

"Bambam, really its okay." I said.

"But I-." Again, I cut him off.

"Thank you." I said.
