Chaeyoung POV

"Wait, for what-."

Before I could finish my sentences, she grabbed me by my hand and jerked my arm through the large garden.

"Wait! Momo! Where are you taking me?" I said with annoyed.

"Just come on!" She laughed.

Eh? What's wrong with her?

"Well, I have to go soon. I still have a lot thing to do." I whined.

She simply ignored my comment.

"Seriously, what is going o-." Before I could finish she stop.

She finally stops in this one garden area, making me check my surrounding. It was shaped in a large square which was a bit odd because I have never seen this part before. I saw small splotches of blue but couldn't quite tell from a distance. I was standing at the entrance of this large square.

"Okay. We are here!" She exclaim.

Momo turned around me, standing in front of me to blocking my view from seeing the rest. She put a hand on my shoulder and smiled. She slowly stepped to side causing her hand to fall down next to her and I looked up to see Mina sitting down on the blanket with multiple food options. Her eyes looked forward with content and her lips were curved in their full pink form. And her smile grew widen seeing me. Her cheeks held a hint of pink as well. I could tell from a mile away, she was blushing. Cute. Momo faced Mina and give her a smirk with an arched eyebrow. They both giggled and Mina nodded as if she was thanking her.

"Also Mina, you didn't have to text me so many damn time. I know the plan. So, you don't have to keep reminding me." She grumbled to Mina.

Mina giggled but I could see she blushing even more.

"Anyways, I will leave you to be." Momo said smiled and walked away without another word.

I looked around again. The garden around us looked elegant. I have never seen this section before, well within the garden. The blue splotches that I saw from afar turned out to be these bright blue hydrangeas. The flowers were blooming and they brighten this side of the garden once the sun landed on them. I still stood there in awe and before I knew it Mina was standing in front of me. She took my hands gently into hers. Her hand so soft. She's smiling beautifully at me. She's beautiful.

"Chaengie, come join me for lunch." She said.

Well, I don't know since when we have nickname for each other and when we call each other nickname. But yeah, we do have nickname for each other. And its feel so nice when she call me by nickname. We walked over and sit on the circle, white, tapestry blanket.

"I have never seen this part of the garden." I said still in awe.

"Well, its a cheer thing you know. Sometimes we hold our top secret meetings here. The headmaster knows about it, of course. And give our team permission to use this area." She explain.

"So, what are these top secret meetings?" I mocked her tone.

"Can't really say, sorry." She smiled and looked down.

"I was supposed to go to the library now. I have a lot of homework to do and I just... Hmm. Absolutely impossible. I mean-." She cuts me.

"Please, stay." She said softly but with eager.

"Please. Just for a little bit?" She asked softly.

She had this pouted in her face and her skin soaked up like a flower absorbing energy. I sigh. How could you say no to this? I nodded and she smiled widely.

"So, remember the first time we actually hung out? I took you to Sharon's bakery and I got us an apple crumb muffin? Well.." She mumbled.

She unfolded a napkin and there the muffin laid. God! I swear my mouth started to drool over the thought of the sweetness of the soft bread with the drizzle of sugar.

"No. You didn't." I said laughingly.

"Oh, but I did." She said dramatically.

We both start to laugh at the thought of one muffin could make everything better. Her laugh was captivating as if it were bright and vibrant colours on the petals.

"Minari. What is all this for?" I asked confused.

I was nervous. Did Mina actually developed feelings for me? I mean I don't really know just yet, but I didn't think I would date for a while. My love relationship kind of, sunk? Or suck? I never really was the one talk about it, unless someone asked the right questions. Not that any of this is bad. Just the thought of Mina, made me blush. Am I really thinking about this? Her dark eyes fell on the top of mine and her long dark black hair fell on her shoulder. Today it was a bit wavy and it shinny clearly as the sun hit on it. She laid on the blanket with her legs tucked underneath her and to the side. Yes, its a bit cold but with sun perfectly aiming down on the garden it made everything seem warm.

"Uh." She started.

"Well, you see. The Fall dance is coming up fast literally. Hmm, next week actually. Originally! Bambam and I supposed to go together but after the stunt, he pulled." She trailed off.

Oh, I honestly just want to forget about that night. I looked down and I felt a hand reach my my face smoothly while her other hand landed in mine.

"So, Chaengie. Would you like to go to the Fall dance with me?" She asked hand still on my face.

Okay, if I say yes then I will have to worry about the dress, the anxiety, the socialise. Should I go? I mean it is really worth it?

"Yes." I smiled brightly.

Yes. Its worth it when it comes to Mina. Her smile promptly grew on the blush that flourished both cheeks flooding like a town of pink peonies. She took one of my mine and brought it up to her face in a somewhat tugging manner. She rested her lips on top of my backhand with her eyes still contact with mine. Oh, her lips was soft.

"Thank you." She cooed.

......................

The weekend instantly flew in and so did the weather. The fall air was scented with goodies, pumpkin spice, crispy leaves and small laughter of children decorating their house for halloween. My dad didn't come back almost over a month now. I don't know if I should worry or not. If he did officially leave, I would be capable of living my own. Just I have to get through this year and hopefully it won't be too painful than it already was before I could leave for a college. I was laying on my bed and started to ponder about Mina and the dance. What if she makes a move?

Oh man, shit. I have never been to a dance before especially ours. Then, my thought were distracted by a light knock on the door downstairs. A loud one in fact. I slowly descended the stairs and I open it slowly. The wind flew in, I squinted my eyes from the air hitting my face to see tall slender woman with long blonde hair standing in front of me.

Jeon Somi.

-You all know I love Somi. Of course she had to be here too. My other Michaeng 😝-
