Mina POV
The winter break finally came. After preparing for multiples tests that Chaeyoung and I have been studying, we passed them with flying colours. Her dad was still nowhere in sight and its nice seeing Chaeyoung not as damaged anymore. Thinking back on how we first met there has been a lot of drama but I remember she seem more quiet and shy. Slowly she start to open up to me and I loved it. The cheer team has been a little difficult since most of them don't accept me as their captain anymore but that's okay.
They knew not to mess with me after they heard about Yeri being kicked off the team. She should be glad I kept her secret about her doing drugs though. I never was one for drugs. Just boozer and liquor. The only alcohol that I have been having lately was wine. Chaeyoung was really uncomfortable around it. I don't blame her considering everything that happened at the parties and her dealing with her dad's obsession with it. I was worried every time she went home. Her dad was incognito and I want to stay the night but I don't think she is comfortable with that just yet.
The girls and I have come up with difficult routines for the championship which were in January but with our football team making to states the week after is going to be hard. I mean the cheers were the same routines we had did but the fact that was exams in the middle of its going to be hard. Usually, every year Momo, Sana and I would crash at my house and study with a timer that was set to thirty minutes each sections. We all have high G.P.A's and I'm still having the debate in my head whether I should choose Juilliard over JY PARK.
I did turn my applications and test scores to Juilliard and Lia Kim were impressed with them. She even told me I was perfect fit, to begin with which was nice. Both of colleges are not too far away from home. Momo probably do internship with her mom's fashion company meaning she would travel to Europe a lot and probably stay the summer there. Sana doesn't know what she wants to do quite yet but she has discussed about law school which is surprising. I mean, she can talk a person down, to tell the truth which is kind of scary.
Chaeyoung's decision letter to JY PARK was on its way and she turning into a nervous wreck. Usually around January or February we would receive our letters. We both submitted our applications there for early admission which is nice because they are better that regular admission. Today's plan were last minutes Christmas shopping with Kai. It will be fun because I will finally meet Jennie. He should just be glad he's not doing a family dinner with her except my dad would probably be more fond of her considering she went to medical school. I kept received emails from Lia Kim who was trying to convince me to go to Juilliard but I simply responded telling her that I was waiting for my JY PARK letter.
My dad hasn't spoken to me since the dinner and he has tried talking to Kai but he would just ice him out. I start to drive towards the mall which is I supposed to met forKai and Jennie at the coffee shop. Chaeyoung just staying at home catching up on sleep but I'm gonna picking her up later on at two so we can grab lunch at this steakhouse. My parents were close to the owner so we would always get free meals or at least we didn't need to worry about the prices.
"Here's your order miss." The lady said.
"Thank you." I smiled politely.
I turn around and took a small sip from my cup with my hands caressing the sides. I accidentally bumped into someone while worrying about my lips being burned.
"Oh sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I said.
"Its okay." She said politely.
"Oh, seem you guys already met." I heard Kai voice.
I turn around to see Kai and he smile.
"W-what?" I asked.
He walked passed me and stood next to the beautiful girl. He wrapped one arm around her waist.
