Mina POV

We all decided to let Momo and Sana stay at my house and do some research to find the phone number while Bambam, Somi and I went to go snooping in the house. I know its a bad idea, but Somi said no one was home and I don't think she would lie about this type of situation. I first thought its better for Momo, Sana and Somi stay at the house but Bambam interfered saying it was a bad idea. Then thinking about it again, I guess he's right. I mean considering the tension in the room and the fight that was about to break out was not pretty. I'm sure I saw Sana's vein through her hands pumping with anger.

We jumped in Bambam's red jeep wrangler and started to make our way. All of the windows were rolled down, so the breeze flew in nicely but it was a bit chilly. He didn't bother playing music, he looked focused and serious. He was more of a detective right now. I know he's big into football and everything but maybe he becoming a cop or apart from a high class security for the government wouldn't be too bad.

Somi stayed silent in the back of the car, her legs were crossed and she kept dwindling her thumbs. I just crisscrossed my legs on the car seat and tapped my thumb against the door handle. I was nervous. What if her dad was there? What if we find no clues? What if there's something much gorier than we expected? I shook my head at the thought and started to take deep breaths. I needed to calm down.

We pulled up to the house and only saw Chaeyoung's car but not her dads. We got out from the car and start to make our way to the front door. I heard a clank behind Bambam and me, and we turned around to see Somi opening the mailbox. We gave her and expression for her to be quiet and questioning what she was doing.

"What? I'm checking to see if they got the email. Which they haven't. Usually, Chaeyoung takes the mail in and there have been letters for the past two to three days." She said.

I start to get worried. She really wasn't home but that was smart of Somi to check yet its and invasion of privacy and kind of illegal. Then again we were doing something illegal as well right now, which was breaking in the house. Bambam and I glanced at each other with worry but his face was stern and serious

"Oh. Oh, wow." Somi exclaimed.

"What? Did you find something?" I asked.

"Well, just a big check from her aunt who lives in the damn Australia and a JY PARK letter." She said smiled.

"Somi! You weren't supposed to open anything!" I said a little loud.

"That's uncalled for dude." Bambam said.

"Relax. I just checked out the giant check but not the letter. Its none of my business." She rolled her eyes.

Chaeyoung got her JY Park letter, meaning I should be getting one too but I'm pretty sure Juilliard is the college for me. I mean I would still like to know what my decision would be just in case. But who knows.

"Just put the mail back inside the mailbox and lets go out back." Bambam said.

Somi did as he said but she walked back over towards us confidently with a smirk on her face.

"Or you can just walk right in." She laughed.

She went towards the door and grabbed a key that was laying underneath a garden pot to the right. I should have known, but also she have known Chaeyoung longer than I have. So might as well let her do all the leading. I rolled my eyes in annoyance until I felt a slight elbow bumping me to the side. Bambam laughed and shock his head. We walked into the house and closed the door behind us. It looked kind of clean but it was a ghost town. The house was dark but mostly a light grey with a cast of light going through the house. It was enough for us to see at least.

"I'm going to check upstairs to see if I can find anything." Bambam said.

Somi and I both nodded and start to search downstairs.

"I recently cleaned this place up and now its trashed again. God, I hate him so much." Somi muttered.

"Her dad?" I asked.

I mean she's probably known him longer too.

"What is he like?" I asked subtly.

"Uh, I don't know. Before he kind of sweet. But I don't know when, he became mean, rude, cocky, arrogant and a big drunkard." She said while looking through the cabinets.

"How long has he been drinking?" I asked.

I wanted to know more.

"Since Chaeyoung's mom passed away." She said quietly.

My heart start to drop and I could hear it through my eardrums. It was pounding loudly. I grabbed the chair lightly so I wouldn't fall over from the pain.

"Hey, whoa. Whoa. Sit down." Somi said while catching my arm.

"Hey, listen. This isn't your fault. Her mom was very ill. Her dad behaviour also not your fault. He act by himself. I know you feel guilty as you push her away, but you just hurt as her. So, don't be guilty and think its your fault. This is not your fault, Mina. We will find her." She tried cheering me up, which is nice of her.

"Let me get you some water." She quickly said.

She enter the kitchen and left me at the table with my hand covering my face trying to calm down. My face was probably red from starting to hyperventilate.

"What the hell." Somi said monotonously.

I walked over to see what she came across, a bunch of pieces was scattered everywhere which looked like a phone. Of course, no wonder Chaeyoung isn't responding.

"Well, that explains why." She muttered.

Bambam came down the stairs with nothing in his hand. He looked empty handed and he looked like he was about to gag.

"There are so much mold and alcohol up in that guys room. Chaeyoung's room on the other hand is nice and neat. Anyways what did we find.. never mind and that explain why she isn't answering her phone." He said trailed off while looking at the ground to see Chaeyoung's phone scattered across the floor.

She's really been taken away, gone. We all start to walk out of the house in disappointed being empty handed, we had nothing. No lead, no anything, nothing. I sat in the car with a large exhale and started to run my hands through my hair.

This is not happening.

A buzzing sound came from the cupholder which had Bambam's phone in it.

"Hello..? What's up? Alright. We are on our way back. No, we didn't find anything." He said answering some questions.

I'm assuming it was either Momo or Sana back at my place.

"Sana and Momo found something on her dad from the police department online. It was something about her father's history. And your mom also found something. She's on the way home." He said confused.

"You mean like record?" Somi added.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"Lets head back then." I said sitting up straight.

I need to stay confident, thinking about it we just might have to involve the cops if her dad was really this bad. Especially if he had a record, I'm not letting that man lay another hand.

"Okay." That's all Bambam said.
