Chapter 31

Chaeyoung POV

Its feel good to have someone to talk with. And I hope Mina understand what I'm saying. I sit in the large couch and continue to watch football. Mina sit across me next to Sana and Momo and there's a plate in her hand with the pancake and she were eating it.

"So, how was you guys night?" Mina asked smirked.

My eyes still on the television but my ear listening to their conversation. The television was loud, so I grabbed the remote and turn it down a little bit.

"Oh, uh-fine?" Momo said.

"Oh my god! Don't lie to me." Mina said.

What are they talking about? Still focus on the television.

"Mina." Sana groaned.

"What?!" Mina said loudly.

"I was drunk okay!" Sana yelled.

"Oh! So you are going to say, last night didn't happen?" Momo said stingingly.

Okay, what's going on?

"No! What I mean, I wasn't in the right mindset last night." Sana said defending.

"Sana! That's basically saying it was a mistake." Momo remarked again.

I didn't hear Mina's voice anymore but Sana and Momo's voice was echoing throughout the house. I turn around where all the commotion was and Mina was in the middle cowering her head down. She had a priceless expression on her face though on what was happening.

"For god sake, Momo. We fucked Momo. And it was a one time thing!" Sana yelled.

HOLY.

SHIT.

My mouth dropped and everything went silent with a bit of awkwardness. Mina arched her eyebrow and had a small smile appear on her lips. She already know. Of course, she's know.

The following week flew by and the tension between Momo and Sana was becoming real. I tried to avoid my so called friends, I have been crammed with the work load school has been giving. Except it wasn't too hard for me to study. When I got home from Mina's house, my dad wasn't home. Like usual. Not even a note. So, whatever. I'm glad actually he's gone for a while. At least I could breath for a while. I walked out of the library and out the front door.

"Chaeyoung!" I heard someone yell from behind.

I turn around but kept walking, I saw Momo running up to catch my walking pace.

"Can I talk to you real quick?" She asked.

Shit! My heart started to beat hard. Oh my god! Is she going to threaten me again?

"Hey, don't worry. I'm not going do anything. Promise." She said laughed.

I guess she saw the expression on my face. I give her a light smile and we made eye contact. Momo is really pretty. But I feel like she could do better with her relationship.

"Lets continue walking. We can walk towards the courtyard. We are sitting outside for lunch." She said.

"Oh. I wasn't really planning on going to lunch today." I said.

"Okay. Well, you can just walk with me." She said happily.

I nodded. We made our way through the halls. The courtyard wasn't as far it was just outside the actual lunchroom. The courtyard was quite large, there was a garden and a fountain with stone tables. I haven't seen it all year but it probably looked the same.

"So." She started.

"I wanted to apologise." She said.

Wait! What?!

"Well, about everything between Mina, you and I. There was a lot that I didn't quite understand between you two and I got jealous real quick." She add.

Momo's phone vibrated within her bag. She give her phone a glare and didn't reply.

"Hmm, anyways. I was mad over the fact that you were closer to Mina than I was. The way she treat you. I see the way she looks at you." She continued.

My heart pounded. Those words were the exactly the same before Bambam handed me the drink. Jeez. He was like Evil Queen giving a poison apple except King.

"Momo." I spoke.

She looked over.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"Uh? What does, what mean?" She asked clueless.

Another buzzed came from her phone. She looked down at her phone again and grabbed it out of her bag after struggling through her other items. She looked at her phone with a small smile.

"I see the way she look at you?" I quoted.

She faced forward again and her mouth turned into an 'O' shape. Once again, another notification came from Momo's phone distracting her. She looked down back again, ignoring my question but looked back up with her eyebrows scrunched together.

"I'm sorry, what?" She asked.

I let out a sigh.

"Sorry. I just, everything." She said point around.

"Don't worry about it. So, are we done?" I asked.

"No. We still haven't made it to the courtyard." She smiled goofy.

We didn't say anything after a couple steps. I felt awkward and my palms were sweaty. Momo talking to me was something new, like remember how our first meeting? It was a rough start. Thinking about it now, I don't mind. The whole pool incident was out of the line but its okay, I guess.

"Chaeyoung. What I meant by that is, just look a little closer." She said.

We looked at each other and I give her a small smile as well as she did. We are not far from the courtyard now. I want this to end because I need to go to study for all these classes and the fact Momo was talking to me calmly actually, was freaking me out. Don't get me wrong. Its just weird okay. I sighed.

"Momo, how are you?" I asked.

"Me? Oh, well I'm fine." She reply.

Liar. I kept stare her making she uncomfortable? And her phone didn't help at all in this situation.

"Honestly, it obvious though. There's major tension. Also I can't tell if your phone keeps buzzing because of what happened between you and Sana or you just that social butterflies." I laugh.

She let out a huge sigh.

"I feel hurt. I felt like I was used instead of being loved. Yeah, I know she was drunk that night. But she came to me. Mina and I were talking inside Sana's room and when Mina left, I turn around to see her face again. Her eyes were halfway open. We talked for a while and then things kind of went from there." She trailed off.

"Oh." I said bluntly.

"Yup. That's happen." She pursed her lips.

"So, look a little closer? What are you saying?" I asked.

"Chaeyoung! Come on. Just look closer. The bigger picture here. You are going to become a surgeon but if you can't figure this out, then you need to go get a check up." She said smirked.

What does she mean? Is she talk about Mina? Should I talk to Mina about this? I mean, every time I'm around her, I get these weird feelings. Yeah. But I haven't had these type of feelings for a while. I mean how could I. We then step out the building and into the large courtyard. There's Mina and Momo's group.

"Well, here's your destination." I said.

She held her phone close to her face with large smile. She typed back immediately and sent the text off.

"Eh, this isn't my destination." She said smiled.

"Come with me." She said still smiling.
