Chaeyoung POV

"I'm fine. Just thinking." I said.

She nodded then set the muffin down on the hard wooden table near my side and sat herself down across from me looking concerned.

"You want half?" I asked.

"I don't know. The way you were looking at it earlier, doesn't seem like you want to share." She teased again.

I just giggled. I slid it back to the middle of the tableland took half apart. After taking the muffin apart, I slid the rest to her. She seemed quiet while we eat silently ate as if something was bothering her.

"Minari." I mumbled.

She look up snapping out of her thought.

"What's wrong?" I pressed the question.

She let out a sigh. Then she shook her head with discontent.

"I-I just- I feel like lately everything is my fault." She said.

"What fault? And how would things be your fault?" I give out a small smile.

"Everything. Everything bad that happen this year so far." She said with sigh.

"Well. Technically, Somi case definitely is not your fault." I mumbled again.

"Okay. Speaking of her." She start.

I let out a sigh. Oh god, here we go. I start to get nervous again. The question was lingering in the back of my mind.

"I didn't know, you liked girl." She said.

I paused my lips and nodded my head. Her face was filled with lost.

"Its not like I would label someone or what. But, uh- So, are you gay?" She asked.

There is it. The question of the hour. More like since we start to get flirty with each other.

"I uh- I don't really like to label my sexuality. Its more like it shouldn't matter if I was bisexual or gay. As in I was more into guys than girls or girls into guys. If I was gay and went straight or the opposite of that. Someone's sexuality shouldn't matter and I prefer to not label that." I finished my ramble.

She nodded at the same time look awe by my speech. But she seem waiting for more.

"But." I paused.

"Since you asked, I do have a preference for girls." I clear my statement.

She look down at her muffin and just give a slight nodded. But I can see her face a bit red. Is she blushing?

"I understand. It makes perfect sense." She said smile.

"Anyways, hmm. Have you told your parents about Juilliard?" I asked.

Her face froze and looking upset now. Shit. Maybe this is not the right timing. I heard she clear her throat and sit straighten.

"I did." She reply.

"But, my dad wasn't so happy about it. He still has this grand idea that I'm going to be just like everyone else in my family. I mean, I had that dream when I was little and it ran in the family. But I don't know how I feel about it." She said.

"Mina. You should be able to do what you want to do or not. I know those probably aren't the best word for advice you. But you, yourself should come first before anything else." I said.

"Thank you." She smiled.

Her eyes seem to fill with light again which is nice to see. I wonder if sh-.
