Chapter 74

Mina POV

Today was the day. Finally, Chaeyoung gets out of the hospital. I sighed in relief. I started to get ready this morning and my phone was blowing up with messages from the group chat. Momo and Sana were on the way over to get the house ready and the boys were running errands at the store. I sat down on my bed brushing my hair able to hear all the knots loosen from each other, which was painful. These past couple days have been hectic without Chaeyoung and school as well. People actually decorated her locker to get better, mainly the girls on the cheer team.

Even though the season was over and most of them didn't like having a captain who was a lesbian, someone stepped up. I sent pictures to Chaeyoung and she laughed at how she was even noticeable to the school. My parents offered to get a phone for Chaeyoung and cover the insurance on it considering 'her dad' completely wrecked hers. She didn't want to accept it at first but then we convinced her, it was not up for a
debate. Once she got it, she first called the school to tell them her absences should be excused due to hospital illness. Usually Tdoong's will accept hospital illness out of your attendance and excuse it.

Afterwards she would just need to bring in the form from the hospital proving she was at stay and was in care from them. My parents were at work today and my dad promised to help her get out of the hospital as soon as possible. Yesterday she told me about their talk and I was surprised my own dad was growing on her. All I can remember was that one night where we all had dinner and everything went wrong, I also remember Kai catching us making out.

Speaking of Kai, him and Jennie are coming home again. They decided to help out with today's plan which is going to be rough. I started to get changed finally, Ray started barking loudly downstairs. I walked down the stairs to check up on him, he was barking at the front door, someone was here. I opened the front door and I saw Sana and Momo  standing there with a bunch of supplies in their hands. They looked like they were about to collapse.

"Please let us in!" Momo groaned.

I stared at them wide-eyed, they walked in and sat their supplies on the table, they seemed out of breath, also in pain.

"Next time, I'm hiring people to run errands for us." Momo said while catching her breath.

Sana laid down on the couch and let out a loud groan.

"Where are the boys?" She said while her face was on a pillow.

"They are running their errands, want to help them?" I asked.

"No!" They both said.

I let out a laugh. Today is going to be big. A real big. I mean I don't know how Chaeyoung's going to react but it's going to happen. We've all been planning this for a while. Momo started to tap my shoulder while she grabbed herself a cup of water. She gulped down the water hard and looked at me.

"Aren't you suppose to be getting Chaeyoung now?" She said while looking at the clock on the microwave.

"Oh shit. Yes, yes. Okay, once the boys get here make sure they don't screw anything up." I said while grabbing my purse and keys.

"Okay!" Momo reply still looking tired as hell.

"Also when are the other people coming?" I asked.

She shrugged her shoulders.

I let out a sigh and started to make myself out the door. I hopped in my car and pulled out of my driveway quickly. I made sure I made room earlier in my car, so Chaeyoung can set her stuff down on the back of the car and be comfortable in the passenger seat. I felt like I was missing something. I started to drive on the interstate pondering on what was missing.
