Mina POV

"What?!" I yelled loudly.

"Yeah, her dad is actually fucked up dude." Momo said.

"Whoa. Whoa. Go back. This guy is a rapist, a robber and what was the last one?" Bambam asked.

Everyone sat in my room and it was storming real bad. Momo held Sana from behind while Sana was laying down. They were lying on my bed and they were probably cuddling and who knows what else. I slightly cringed at the thought of something else. Maybe I should change my bed covers just in case. Sana held the laptop on her computer and started to read off everything over again.

"Well, uh- nearly killing a dude." Sana mumbled.

I let out a large sigh and shook my head. My heart was aching. I pursed my lips and started to heat up. He could hurt Chaeyoung! And I'm just sitting here like a duckling doing nothing about it.

"Damn. He must have a good lawyer." Momo mumbled behind Sana.

"Where is he getting the money from though?" Bambam asked.

"Maybe from the money he stole." Sana remarked in a high tone.

"But seriously though. With this serious case, then the lawyer must be crazy good." Bambam said again.

"I don't know but he's been let loose most of the time." Momo said.

"But what I know, Chaeyoung's grandparent love her dad and they are pretty rich. Chaeyoung's mom is from rich family. But I don't know why, they didn't even care about their daughter or Chaeyoung. About her dad, I don't know anything." Somi said.

I didn't say a word, the thoughts in my head drowned them out. Her dad could drown her. Maybe give her to a couple of other rapists, torture her!

God!

I felt confused, like why now?

What's he getting at?

There were so many questions but none of them being answered. Then, I heard the garage door open from downstairs. Everyone stayed where they were and talked amongst themselves. I peeked around the corner and saw my mom and my dad.

Right!

My mom said she have some information. But I just don't get it why my dad was here too.

"What are you doing home?" I asked lightly more to my dad.

I didn't want to startle them. They looked up slowly at me and my dad was covering his mouth with relaxation yet with anger. He titled his head and his eyes were baggy.

"No, the question is what are you doing here?" He asked with an attitude.

"I didn't want to go." I said lightly.

He slammed his hand down on the island table and held his hand up in the air, basically telling me to not say anything else. While my mom already stand beside him to calm him down.

"Just because your so-called girlfriend is gone doesn't mean you have to mess up your life." He said harshly.

Great.

Here we go again on this topic.

"I came home today because I got a phone call that my daughter wasn't at school. At this rate, you're never going to go to JY Park." He said.

I was livid at this rate.

"You know what dad, I'm not going to JY Park! I'm going to Juilliard. I'm eighteen and I get to make my own choices. I get to make these decisions. My girlfriend is missing and yes, she is a girl. So get used to it! I'm so sick and tired of you breathing down my neck thinking that I will be replace Minho. And now, I know what he felt when you kept push him to do what he don't want. I don't want to be surgeon or a doctor or anything that has to do with medicine. I have my own life. And you know what? This feels so good to let off my chest and you know what I realised, not ever once you apologise to me or mom or Kai. We always do what you want and I'm done with you. Just go to the hospital because it seemed more important to you than giving a damn about you daughter." I said in breath.
