Chaeyoung POV

A few minutes after Mina walked out, I decide to drained the tub and I love how the small whirlpool forms at the drain. The pain was still going through my side but I simply ignored it. I dried myself off with the towel and slipped into a large black sweater and sports shorts. The big sweater were covered up the shorts make me look like I'm not wearing any shorts that Mina gave me.

The sweater had a strong smelled of Jasmine. The strong Jasmine scent. The Mina scent. Sweet and mild but also homey and safe. I flipped my hair into the side and opened up the door with the welcoming smell of actual meal. My stomach growling. I followed the scent out of her room and down the stairs. The house is huge. Its white with a light grey, the railing down the stairs were glass and the tiles were smooth hard grey rock. A giant dog came running at me and jumping on top causing me to fall backward and probably breaking my sorry ass. Ouch!

I was on the ground with panic and the dog barked loudly. He looked friendly though. But, not gonna lie my side hurt a bit. I heard footsteps coming down to the hall in the first floor, they were normal and not a quickened pace. Mina face popped out of the corner and she giggled in a childish way.

"This- hmm.. your dog?" I asked trying to be amusing.

"Yeah! Sorry. This is Ray." She said laughed.

"Come here buddy!" She called his name in high pitch voice.

The big dog, the so called Ray got off from on top me and went to Mina. She came and helped me up. She lightly put one hand behind my back and I felt my stomach flutter. She then scooped me up quickly as if it was no big deal. She was so toned and fit. I mean, she's the cheerleader captain. So, she's perfectly fit right? And I? Definitely, not fit at all. I'm just small, skinny and thin. She brought me over to the kitchen stool and sat me down gently. On the table was a divine dish of shrimp pasta waiting for me. Surely, I was drooling over it. Last time I eat just one slice of orange. I looked around seeing most of her kitchen was granite. There was an island in the middle, a huge stove set on the right, a large silver fridge on the left, and window surrounding the room.

I wish my home was like this. Its like you open up one cabinet and I see an empty space. I open up the fridge and there are only a couple bottles of water. I look our side table in my house and there would be alcohol, loads of rum and whiskey. She sat on top of the kitchen island across from where I was with her plate. We sat there eating quietly.

"What happened?" I mumbled after taking a bite of this divine plate.

She just sat quiet and swallowed.

"I actually don't quite know. Do you- hmm, remember anything?" She asked me.

"Uh-I remember Momo yelling at me." I said recalling.

"You drowned." She said quickly and paused.

"You drowned because you fell in.." She said then stop.

"Chaeyoung." She said my name.

My heard dropped when she said it. It wasn't a bad feeling. It was comforting one.

"Who give you that bruise?" She said giving me a stern look.

Oh! That! I shouldn't tell her. No one can know. He will lash out at me if he figured out. What if he come here and hurt her? I can't. I stayed quiet. She will hate me. She will judge me. And she will leave. Everyone does.

"Chaeyoung." Mina said with a soft voice.

There. She said it again. Saying my name. So soft. So warm.

"Did Momo give you that bruise?" She asked concern.

Momo?
