Chapter 54

Mina POV

I wonder why Kai's voice sound a bit nervous when he call me just now. Its seem like there something happen. He just told me that my parents to be exact my dad wants me to come back home. He told to back alone but definitely its not happen since Chaeyoung is with me. I'm not sending her back to her house when I suppose to spend time with her. So whatever. As we arrived, everyone seem so serious especially my dad. When mom saw me with Chaeyoung, I could see her face a bit guilty and nervous same as Kai. What happen actually?

"Hmm, mom. What's going on? Why everyone look so serious right now?" I asked.

"Oh, sweetie. Uh, Chaeyoung. Can you leave us a while. There's something we have to discus." Mom said to Chaeyoung.

But before she could answer it, dad cut her off.

"Why? Just let her be here. This is about her too. Besides, does she wants to know about her family?" Dad said sternly.

I can hear his voice full of anger and hate. Why he hate Chaeyoung so much? Can he see I'm happy with Chaeyoung. I held Chaeyoung hand as I see she seem scared and nervous.

"What's going on guys? We already discus about this right. Can we respect her decision?" I said a bit annoyed.

Then I turn to Chaeyoung and I could tell she's shaky and tensed. I really hate see her like this. Its hurt me too.

"Chaengie. You don't have to be here if you don't want." I said to her.

"I-Its o-kay." She said.

As I turn to mom, I can see her face disagree with whatever happen here. I wonder why. Kai also has the same reaction as mom but not dad. He seem full of hatred towards Chaeyoung. Then, we settle down at the couch. Dad went to his office and then come back with a file. Honestly, I was terrified at this rate. I really don't know what's going on here. I could feel my heartbeat through my ears and the silence kills me. I look Chaeyoung and I could tell she feel same as me. And I bet its double than me as dad mention about her family. Kai soon opened the file, hearing the page turn made me cringe and felt like another hammer was about to come crashing down. I closed my eyes and curiosity was built up.

"Wait, what?" Kai mumbled.

"No, it this real mom? It is serious? Dad? Mom?" Kai asked my mom and dad serious.

"What is it?" I asked.

Everyone sat in silence again except the page begin to shuffle roughly. My heart was pounding in fear. I could feel Chaeyoung tighten her grip on my hand and tensed. What's it is?

Flip.

Flip.

Flip.

The pages kept going.

I couldn't stand it anymore. I took the paper out of Kai hands.

"Wait, Mina." Kai called out.

I looked through the end to see the time of death 10.03 pm. Wait, what is this? I kept looking at the paper. Tears began to fall hard. I covered my mouth with one of my hands and had the other holding the paper.

The name Myoui Minho.

What.

I bent over the chair and start to cry even harder.

Chaeyoung POV

What is going on? Why it is Mina crying? I'm tensed, nervous and scared. What it is? Can someone tell me what happen? Mina just sit there sobbing hard.

"Minari." I whispered.

"Don't." She yelled.

Everyone had their eyes set on me and so did Mr. Myoui. But I can see his eyes was full of hatred and anger while Mrs. Myoui and Kai has this sympathy look at me. I gulp. Really? What's going on? Mr. Myoui told before its had related to my family. And why Mina is crying?

"Minari, w-what's go-ing o-on?" I stuttering.

"Just don't." She said don't even look at me.

Mr. Myoui ready to walk towards me but Kai hold him and Mrs. Myoui shook her head disapprove.

"Let me go! She had to know what her dad doing to us!" Mr. Myoui said almost yelled.

My dad?

"Your dad.. the one who crash on Minho!" Mina yelled at me.

I flinched.

Now, she was looking at me. But, there's hate and anger in her eyes. There's no love anymore. Everyone was quiet.

"Mina." Her mom said.

"No! Stop Mina. You're not in right mind." Kai said to Mina.

"She wants to know what's going on right now. I'm telling her. Your dad, killed my son! He crash him and just let him die there!" Mr. Myoui turn to yelled at me.

Again, I flinched.

I look at Mina, then Kai and then Mrs. Myoui. Mina walk towards me and hand me the paper. The pain in my heart was in incredible pain but I couldn't imagine the pain in hers. This is not truth. I start to panic. I quickly went after her leaving her parents with Kai behind. I hear sudden slamming into her room and I start to worry. Her mom was follow me behind with worried. I opened the door and saw Mina was crying hard and start to throwing things vigorously. I flinched and start to be scared and hurt even more.

"Minari." I mumbled.

She didn't answer me but continued to crying. I heard her loud sobs and its hurt seeing her like this. They were still coming out roughly. She finally turn around, her face was nearly red and her eyes were puffy.

"Mina." I said again.

She didn't respond but walked forward towards me.

"Please, leave. I can't. I can't look at you right now. Please." She said at me.

She don't even look at me when she said that. My chest feels tight. Its hurt. I slowly nodded even she didn't see or look. Her loud sobs echoed through the room. I slowly step back and turn around, walk away from her. I feel like I could barely breathe. The pain in my heart was too real. Its feel the same when my mom leave me. I know I was losing her. Mrs. Myoui stop me and hug me tight. Tears finally fall to my cheeks.

"I'm sorry. I will talk to her. I know she love you. She just don't in her right mind right now. Please don't give up on her." Her mom said to me.

I just nodded and pulled away, smile sadly at her. As I went down, Kai walk towards me. He hug me too and said it wasn't my fault. And she will realised it and come back to me. I don't know. I really don't know if I could hope for that anymore. I couldn't forget how much hate and anger she look at me just now.

I know I'm losing her.

I'm losing my world.

I just can dream of my perfect world.
