The Long Lost Mafia Princess

Book 2 chapter 8

I eat half the plate of salad and not wanting to disappoint Roman, I reach out to a fry.

I swallow deeply and subconsciously squeeze Roman's hand tighter.

I take a bite of the fry before swallowing it.

I feel Roman stroke my hand with his thumb giving some kind of comfort while I continue eating that unhealthy food.

I stopped eating after the 5th fry, nog being able to eat any more fries because of constantly remembering what I ate this morning and warnings and stuff that filled my head.

When I stopped eating, I started talking with the others once more until we all decided that we're going home because of school tomorrow.

After saying goodbye to each other and paying for everything, we walk back to the limousine.

As soon as I sit down, I take my heals off making me sigh out in relief.

I take my laptop out again to find more details about the human trafficking ring and when/how I need to be kidnapped to come in there to then take it down.

After about half an hour I close my laptop and explain everything to the others.

"I'm going to get kidnapped for a mission" I say very blunt.

Heads shoot up in my direction in shock.

"What?!"

"No"

"Absolutely not"

And more things were called out as soon as I made that statement.

I look at them for a second until I start talking, "well I have to. To take down the biggest human trafficking ring in this city I have to go undercover. They don't let woman or girls in unless they are the ones who get sold/auctioned, so that's why I'll be getting kidnapped. Also I need some of you guys to get undercover inside and dad I need extra backup. One of you will sort of kind of buy me and then when everything is safe we'll take down the ring." I speak out loud.

Dad thinks about it for a second, "euhm okay, okay but I want you to have a small earpiece in to communicate with us at all times. I also want you to have a camera on you and have your tracker programmed to be on constantly. Also I need you to hide small knife in your hair for if something would go wrong. I'll have backup ready and I'll have the place surrounded at all times while you're there." He tells me.

"Okay" I say giving him a smile.

"When will you get kidnapped?" Roman asks. 

"Two days before the event, we found some areas where there is a lot of kidnapping around that time for the trafficking so I'll be kidnapped at one of those places." I answer his question.

He nods his head then he says very quietly, "I don't want you to get hurt so be careful and cautious." Before he pulls me in a sideways hug.

"I will, I promise. And don't forget that we have a mission together in a few days huh" I remind him.

He smiled before hugging me tighter to him, "go to sleep Красивый" he tells me giving me a kiss on the head.
