For some reason I told Roman everything, he's seen those pictures too and has heard me telling him grafie details of play room sessions. He sort of knows everything. He knows that I've thought about taking my life more often then my family knows. He knows things that even my family doesn't know. While I know everything about him. How he saw his parents and family members get killed, how he saw those guards turn on his family. How he lived on the streets, getting beaten daily and more. I can't really explain it but I know that everything I would tell him he wouldn't judge me about just like I would never do that with him. That even if the world would be falling apart we would still be there for each other.

School is finally done, I say goodbye to my friends and make my way over to Roman.
Roman and I then continue to walk to his bike together.
It was a little scary, me showing a few scars.
A lot of people looked and stared at me throughout the day....which was something.
I felt too insecure to glare at them or anything so when my friends or brothers noticed, they did that for me making those eyes go away which I'm very grateful for.
Eventually the staring got fewer throughout the day since they'd already seen the scars I guess.
I did hear some people talk about it but I tried to ignore them and not take it personal, they don't know my life nor my story.
When we arrive at the bikes, we put our helmets on before Roman swings his leg over his bike.
I follow his lead and swing my leg too before gripping him by his waist.
The motor starts and before I know it, we're swerving through cars.
I smile feeling peaceful and calm.
With the palm of one of my hands which is resting on his shirt, I start drawing slow circles on his skin.
He shudders underneath my touch but doesn't comment on it, instead he reaches around my arm and gives me a small comforting squeeze to show that I can continue and stuff.
He puts his hand back around the weel and continues driving back home.
When we arrive, we pull our helmets off our heads before Roman pulls me into a big hug.
I smile while saying, "where did I deserve this hug for?" In a joking tone.
He chuckles a little, "well dear Valentina, it's because you are so amazing and perfect" he says.
A blush creeps on my face as I hug him tighter, "how on earth do I get you" I mutter, "oh I l-" I suddenly start talking when my brothers drive in the driveway.
I love you Roman, god I've loved you for years now.
I love him, oh my god...
I love that man.
How have I only realized that now.
I don't say it though, it almost flew out of my mouth but I stopped myself.
Roman and I release the hug before we walk inside the house.
