Chapter 9

                           Greyson's POV
Tony handed me the gun with the silver bullets.

"Few more things then you're useless. Stay here while I go check on Nat."

I ran upstairs and went looking for Nattie.

"There you are!"

She ran up to me.

"Are you okay?"

She shook her head. She pulled down the left side collar of her shirt.

Our mark is gone?!

"H-wh-how?!"

"Carrie said that she messed something up and you have to redo your mark."

I cupped Nattie's face.

"I'm scared..."

"I know."

I am too.

I brought her somewhere private.

"Please mark me again! Please! I'm fucking scared!"

"Okay. Breathe relax."

We marked each other again and did the blood rite.

"Why did I hear you yell?"

"You don't want to know. It's bad enough I know who almost killed you. I can't help but feel like I led him to you."

"Huh?"

"My uncle and cousin are behind this. I'm sorry."

"Wh-why are you sorry? This isn't your fault."

I started crying.

"I've heard what they were gonna do to you. I know who wants to do things to you. I have to kill them. I have to."

"What? Why?"

"You're safer not knowing."

"But I want to know."

"They wanted to make you a sex slave."

"What?!"

She started hugging me.

"No! No!"

"I know everyone in that goddamn pack. Turns out my dad was alpha and never told me."

"So that yelling was you using your alpha voice?"

"Yep. Nobody is gonna get you. Every living thing that is not a child in that pack is dead."

"I-I don't like you being alpha!"

"Same here. But I have to do what I have to do to keep you safe. To keep us safe."

"Y-you're too nice to kill someone!"

"I know. Is there a safe room for you here?"

"There's a panic room with security cameras."

"Okay. Let me know if you go in there. Love you."

"Love you too."

I kissed her then ran back downstairs.

"Okay. What do you want to do with these two?"

"I'll handle them."

I walked to the room Stanley was in and shot him in the arm. Then I went to the room Trent was in and shot him in the leg. I held the gun up to his head.

"If you have any goons on the way here call them off! If you don't then your brain is about to go all over this room. Also if you're lying I will find out."
