Violet stormed out of the therapist room and loomed over her cousin.

Jerry Gershon was sitting in the patience room typing away on his phone wearing a simple white shirt and blue jeans. He had brown skin like her only his hair was short and curly. He must've noticed her shadow because his brown eyes slowly glanced over at her and he smiled.

How dare he.

How dare he smiled after purposing lying on government paper work.

Violet grabbed a hold of his shoulders. "Switch."

The room went dark once more and everyone around them sat frozen in place all but Jerry and Violet. Violet let go of his shoulders and narrowed her eyebrows just to make the picture clear that she was very unimpressed with him.

"What we're you thinking? Military, I'm not in the military. I can get sued for that."

"You stopped the whole world just to lecture me?" Jerry asked sounding far too clueless for Violet liking. Violet swears she is the only one with any brains in the family.

"Yes, because saying you're in the military when you're not is against the law."

"But aren't you in the military?" Jerry asked.

"No," she screamed back at him.

"It sounded like it," Jerry said. His eyes going back to his phone only to frozen. "How come my text messages aren't getting through?"

"What part of frozen world don't you understand? Everything is frozen including phone singles." She snatched his phone out of his hand. "Meaning text messages can't get through. Look you can even try and call someone."

Using his phone, she scrolled down his contact list and rang his recent girlfriend. The screen popped up, but no sound was heard coming from the phone.

"See what I mean. It stops everything."

"Give me that," Jerry said. Snatching his phone out of her hand. "What's the big deal anyway? Just take a few sessions and you can go back to whatever you do."

"I don't need help."

"That's normally a big sign that people do need help," Jerry said sounding wisely. Shame he wasn't wise.

"Do you know why I told you?"

"Why?"

"Because your family and yeah, Younkin made a good point that maybe family should know for support and you know what you did. You made an appointment with a therapist against my will the moment I told you. Despite the fact that I showed you this. I downright showed you what I can do and I still am, but than you just throw me at a therapist. You might as will call me crazy at least that would hurt less."

"It really isn't a big deal."

"I want to punch you," Violet admitted. Holding her anger back so she didn't punch her older cousin. "I really, really want to punch you."

"It's a suggestion that maybe..."

"Maybe what? The world is frozen around you and you still think I'm nuts. Face it Jerry you're the one in denial not me."

"But what's wrong with getting help? I don't know what you do in your free time Violet I will admit that. But by what you have told me it sounds like you have a double life."

"I do have a double life and I've told you before there was no need to throw me at a therapist because we have our own already. So, why is it so hard for you to admit that magic is real."
