Neddy did end up stealing a car. Violet wasn't too sure if it counted for stealing because the keys, we're in the car the person who owned it was just outside leaning against the open window forever frozen before Neddy pushed him aside. Agent One sat in the seat beside Neddy and Violet sat in her back her wheelchair packed up and tucked in the back of the car. She didn't need the wheelchair Violet would normally protest no matter how weak her legs would feel after being drained.
But with her cousin being kidnapped she put aside her whining for now and focus on anything else but the scary thought of Jerry being in harms, way.
"I don't get it. Jerry was frozen like everyone else. How did he get un-frozen?" Violet asked.
"Hmm, spell most likely," Agent One said. "Like I said the twins are spell casters. So, it was possible that they found a spell to un-freeze spell."
"But why my cousin?"
"Obviously they found the link to you. I expect the twins have been doing research on us since they haven't attack us since the mind worms. Just try to take a rest Violet. We will wake you up when we get there."
Violet didn't want to sleep, but than again she didn't want to stare at the road either. With a yawn she attempted to make herself comfortable in the back seat of the car and closed her eyes. It took her a while before she dozed off, but instead of dreaming she found a set of yellow eyes. Yellow eyes that slowly turned to a golden colour.
"Golden Eyes?" Violet inner-self said. "Why are you here?"
"Do you have questions?" Golden Eyes asked.
"Lots. But I highly doubt your going to tell me the answer any time soon."
"I meant about the twins," Golden Eyes sneered.
"What's there to know? There nuts."
"There is more to the story that meets the eye. Just how there is more to the story about you losing your magic."
She snorted. "I can't lose my magic. I've always had it."
The only ones to know about her magic before Jerry was her parents and both of them weren't around by the time, she joined Magic Force.
"Very well. Then wake up and switch."
The eyes of Golden Eyes faded away and Violet found herself waking up. She, stir in her seat and saw that the three of them we're currently still going on the road not even bothering to stop as traffic lights just avoiding the rest of the cars that we're frozen in time.
Golden Eyes was wrong.
He was wrong about Agent Smith and he was wrong about her losing her magic. Then why not just see for herself? She might not have any proof that Agent Smith is a woman who only cares for power, but she can prove to herself that she hadn't lost her magic.
Right?
That wasn't possible. Right?
"Switch."
Nothing happened.
"Switch," she said again.
She wanted to cry. There's never been a time that she couldn't switch.
"Switch."
"Violet you, okay?" Neddy asked.
"I can't switch," she panicked.
Neddy pulled of the road stopping the car and turning around along Agent One.
"Did you just say you can't switch?" Agent One asked.
"Yes, I can't switch," Violet said.
"Try it again." Neddy said. "You know just to see."
