"Do you know how to make a portal?" Neddy asked.
"Younkin warned us about Smith."
"I know, but in case you don't know there isn't much we can do about Smith at least at the moment. We can't just arrest her without proof. I also rather not be on her bad side at the moment. You know the world being frozen thing."
Neddy did make a point.
"Alright, but keep a distance from her."
"Deal. Now, about portals. How do you make a portal?"
"Head Leader said that we have to go back to base to create a portal. But how?"
"Portal guns?" Neddy asked.
Portal guns we're said to be weapons that could open doorways to other dimension without a problem. The only issue was both Neddy and Violet couldn't just walk in and grab a portal gun on a good day. Much less a day where the twins we're currently living in the base for portal guns we're only meant for higher ups and we're heavily protected. It would be worst now with all those mind worms beside neither of them knew where the portal guns we're located.
"But how do we find them?" Violet asked.
"Duh, we know Agent One," Neddy said with glee in his eyes.
"Oh, we do. Agent One would be one of those agents that could actually get weapons like that without an issue. He would know where it is."
"Exactly. There's just another issue."
"What's the issue Neddy?"
"I'm about to freeze."
She blinked. Then she blinked again as Neddy eyes opened.
"What do you mean freeze?"
"In every time line us Agents slowly freeze with the world. It's the twins doing and I see myself frozen right here," Neddy paused. He stayed paused. He didn't move again Neddy aka Agent Fourteen of Magic Force, with the magic of I see no evil was frozen in time.
"Neddy?"
No, this isn't right.
Neddy been with her from the start.
He was there when the painting of golden eyes faded away. He was there when Head Leader disappeared. He was by her bed side after she collapsed. He was always there. Heck, he was always there during their training days there has never been no Neddy.
"Neddy?"
Violet head turned left than right, left than right again back and forth back and forth. She wasn't too sure what she was looking for, but maybe apart of her was looking for someone to help her because Neddy was frozen in time.
"Hang on Neddy. I won't leave you behind."
She attempted to pull at his arm. He wouldn't move. She tried to pull at his arm again. He still wouldn't move.
"Just stay put. I'm going to get help."
Apart of her thought duh of course Neddy was going to stay put. He wasn't really going anywhere any time soon. Violet dashed up the hill not caring if she slipped on the many twigs on her way, she was more focus in getting help and getting Neddy away from the river bedside.
"Jerry," she screamed.
Jerry was still at the park having Agent Smith lecturing him and Agent One was returning with a stack full of paper under his arm and whistling happily.
"Jerry, I need your help. It's Neddy."
"Twenty-Five what has gotten into you?" Agent Smith asked with a scowl. Violet swears the old woman was born with a scowl.
"It's Neddy he's frozen in time."
"Oh, dear," Agent One said. "So, the fairies were right."
"Fairies?" Violet asked.
"A few warned me about Fourteen situation. I didn't take it serious since we we're the ones that didn't get frozen in the first place."
"Where is Fourteen?" Agent Smith asked.
"Yes, yes I know. I'm deeply sorry about that," Agent One said to air. Which likely had a fairy hovering nearby.
"Down at the river."
"Why are your clothes wet?" Jerry asked.
"I feel into the river. Now, come on."
Violet dashed across the road through the gate onto the pathway, jumping over a few gates before she almost tumbled down the hill, but there was Neddy.
Neddy was still frozen forever with his mouth open. It was a good thing the rest of the world got frozen with him otherwise her friend would have a bunch of bugs flying into his mouth. It's also why she wanted to get him inside because she didn't think cold air flying into his mouth like that was a good thing frozen world or not.
Agent Smith and Agent One stayed on top of the hill as Jerry came tumbling down and together both cousins worked as one to get Neddy away from the river. They lifted him up and carried him up the hill all the way back to the farm house where he stayed frozen like a statue for the next three days and forever more.
