Violet found herself in her old run down flat later on that afternoon she had refused to speak to Jerry as she sat on her brown couch playing app games all day. She didn't have any work today and she didn't know where Neddy was leaving her on her own since the last thing she wanted to speak to was with Jerry. For a change nothing odd had happened in her flat room.
No, strange sounds, no doors opening and closing on their own when they shouldn't. Tech didn't play up stoves didn't randomly turn on and open portals didn't pop up in some mother's flat scaring her and her kids. It was a rather peaceful day and true to Younkin words her therapist didn't know her at all as Violet had returned to the building. And, asked the woman at the counter if her cousin had booked an appointment for her early this morning, but the woman at the counter shook her head. Although did suggest if she wanted to book an appointment, but Violet had shaking it off saying no she wasn't here to do such a thing, but sometimes her older cousin worried far too much. Followed by a side note that suggested he did it all the time and she had to cancel appointments that she never made.
The woman seemed to have taken it as an answer and let Violet wander of on her merry way leaving her for the rest of the day to relaxed at least she thought it was until there was a buzz at the door.
Flipping of her couch she walked to the speaker and buzzed the button.
"Yes?"
"Violet you there?"
"Neddy? I thought you we're with family today."
"I know. I told them what Younkin suggested, but they thought I lost the plot."
"Ah, same deal than."
"Your cousin thought the same too?"
"Yeah, come on up. I'll explained to you the rest of the story."
Letting Neddy in Violet returned back to her couch as her door opened.
"My parents think I lost the plot," Neddy said. The moment he entered the room.
Neddy skin was fair, but his hair was bright red his eyes we're closed like they normally are, but even though outsiders might think he was blind he wasn't at all blind. He shut them because of his own magic and yet he can still walk around perfectly fine without any aid.
"How so?"
"There convinced that magic doesn't exist and I've gone mad just because I said I do. I knew telling them the truth was a bad idea."
"Did you tell Younkin he can erase it. He did with me will at least my therapist."
"Therapist?"
"My cousin sent me to a therapist for the same reason why your parents think your mad."
"But you can actually show yours. Did you show him your magic?"
"Yes."
"And, he was still in denial?"
"Yep."
"The dude must be clueless," Neddy paused. "Or at least an idiot no offence."
"None taken. I too have come to an understanding that Jerry Gershon is in fact an idiot."
"That's good. I didn't want to come of as a jerk. The only issue with my magic is I can't show them. Not unless I spot some sort of demon which is less likely and if they do actually see my eyes they will freak."
"See no evil?" Violet said.
"Exactly. I mean saw I get visions of every possible timeline, but my parents had always thought my ramblings was just day dreams. Heck, they still think I'm blind and I have to use this thing."
