Chapter 15: Goodnight

Amelia's P.O.V

My fingers dig into Theo's flesh making him wince.

"Shit, sorry" I said nervously walking away to go take a seat. The police were done questioning us about the attack. We were all surrounded by Miles's bed while he was sitting up in the room. The beeping of the machines attached to him filling the silence.

All we know, Miles wasn't going to give away who attacked him to the police. Shawn made sure the coast was clear before he closed the door.

"It was the Thornes, they want their money." Miles whispered looking directly at Theodore. Theo cursed under his breath folding his arms over his chest and looked up at the ceiling in fear.

I looked over at him with wary eyes. I don't know who or what is going on but I sense they are dangerous. His reaction hearing the name gives it away. Theodore sighed deeply and started to fill the rest of us in.

The Thornes used to be in an alliance with Zachary's gang The Veninos. Theodore used to deal with payments for Zachary until one day he did not show up. Theodore didn't go to the meeting because of his fallout with Zachary. They are only targeting Theodore because of his disloyalty.

I went to the vending machine for more snacks.

"Amelia" She said and I greeted her turning around to look at her parents.

"Hi, Blair. I didn't know you came with your parents." I said confusingly putting coins in the machine.

"Uh well. They don't know" She said nervously and I raised an eyebrow at her. "How is Mil-Miles?" She asked and I felt guilt that I did not comfort her right away. She always had a small crush on Miles when since Theo and him became friends in high school.

"He is fine and resting." I said trying to be vague so she does not worry.

"Amelia, please I am not a little girl anymore" She pleaded and I sighed.

"You will not want to see him like this. He is really hurt" I said softly. I clicked the buttons for a chocolate bar and turned back to her. "Go and tell your parents you are here. You will probably get to see him after he rests." I said and picked up the candy bar. 

Theodore walked beside me and pulled me in for cozy hug making me melt away in front of him. He did not acknowledge his sister being her but he probably knew why she was here. 

"Home?" Theo asked me quietly.

"Your place" I said quietly and he nodded his head. We said bye to everyone and left the hospital.

I stripped out of my clothes and heard Theo in the shower in the bathroom. Without any thoughts, I stepped into the shower wrapping my arms around his torso leaning my head against his back. He took a deep breath while the water ran down our bodies.

There were so many things I wanted to tell him at that moment but I didn't know how to say it. I wanted to tell him about how I was working for Zack, how I gave information away and stole the flash drive. I wanted to tell him I was sorry because we wouldn't have been in this mess if it weren't for me.

Theo cupped my cheek into his hand staring intently into my eyes.

"None of this is your fault, Lia. We will get through this" He said leaning his forehead against mine. My eyes widen feeling scared that he knew me too well.

I clasped my hands behind his neck pushing our lips together, resting my body against his. We both let out a hungry groan feeling our bodies against each other. Theo moved his lips slowly against mine letting the water continue to drip between us sliding his hands down to my waist pushing me against the tile walls. I let out a moan feeling the front of him pushed up in between my legs. He intertwined our fingers raising my arms above my head, moving his body against mine. I felt his hips thrust into mine, while he deepened the kiss slipping his tongue into mouth. His lips were taking control making me feel butterflies in my stomach.

We were chest to chest while I stared into his warm brown eyes. "You don't have to" Theo mumbled in between kisses.
