“What the heck? Were you two expecting me?” I yelled over the sound of the blades of the helicopter.

“Yes. Come on, I’ll help you in.” Nightwing shouted as he walked towards the aircraft.

I am getting sick of this “hero” thinking I need his assistance for everything. Do I look like a handicap! You’d think that after watching me run up a wall he'd loosen up. Or not I guess. Guess the only way was to show him. Taking a deep breath I ran towards the hovering helicopter and leapt into the air.

“Wait!” I heard Nightwing shout as my foot left the gravel.

Letting out a squeal of excitement I make it into the helicopter. Feeling the wind whip my hair about my face. Smiling down at Nightwing I felt a hand clamp onto my  shoulder.

“That was a bad idea.” The person said with a low gravelly voice. Stepping forward I put my hands up to defend myself until I recognize the man in the suit.

“I made it in safely. So in my point of view it was a good idea. Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Cheshire.” I said reaching out my hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you." He grunted as he reached past me and pulled Nightwing the rest of the way into the helicopter.

"Hey Bats. I found our little blip." Nightwing chuckled as he threw an arm around me.

"I see. Once we get to the cave we can begin our questions." Batman said moving back to the front of the craft.

"Can't wait." I sigh as I stand next to Dick. Looking over at him I see him staring at me. "You should take a picture. It lasts way longer." I chuckled, rolling my eyes.

"Not always. You're just really pretty." He shrugged pulling me closer.

Not that I don't enjoy this. But I did just leave a relationship, literally like twenty minutes ago.  But this feels natural. More playful then Steve had ever been. And I loved it.

"Thank you. That's really sweet of you to say." I smile turning to kiss his cheek just as he turns to speak to me. As our lips connected my eyes widened but I couldn't find the urge to retreat.

"Wow." He sighed leaning away from me with a broad smile.
